Her doctor's excuse had run out and it was time for her to face the music and return to class, but it was damn hard. It was the first time Obie had been out of her room since the incident and she couldn't help but feel a bit paranoid. She knew that Izumi would no longer be after her unless if she opened her mouth, but the eyes...
She could feel them everywhere she went. She could hear the whispers that would stop when she looked over at them. A couple of times she heard Ra's name, but she was too scared to speak up. Why did it matter anyways? Why did people care so much? She hadn't done anything to them, she thought as her final class drew to a close.
As everyone started to file out of the door, she got bumped in her tender ribs and tried her best not to cry. Things only got worse as she suddenly found herself surrounded by everyone. It didn't matter that they were oblivious to her or not, she could feel her heart racing. At any moment he could be there, ready to finish what he had started. Ra had asked her if she wanted him to come meet her after class, but she had insisted that she would be alright and that she would meet him back in her room, but now she was severely wishing she had said otherwise. Feeling the beginnings of a full on panic attack starting to creep its way through her, she pushed herself carefully through the crowd to a small corner out of the way. Leaning back against the wall, she closed her eyes and took slow, deep breaths. Why wouldn't it go away? she thought as she ran her fingers through her hair and slowly sank down to the floor.

Kyo was on his way back from his morning classes to take over the housewife duties. As Aya was incapable of sitting still for two seconds they had decided to split the maternity leave between them. Alternating days.
Grinning happily to himself he ran his fingers through his blue hair and almost tripped over the girl who was sat in the middle of the floor.
"Obsidian?" he asked, crouching down and resting a had on her shoulder. She looked terrible. "Obsidian, are you all right?"

Obie didn't open her eyes right away when she heard her name being spoken by a man with a Japanese accent. It wasn't him, she told herself. For a split second, her heart stopped as he touched her and she quickly pulled her shoulder away and her eyes flew open. Seeing Kyo crouched down next to her, she relaxed a little and turned her eyes out to the hallway.
"Yeah. I just..." She just what? "I just felt a little dizzy all of a sudden and needed to sit down for a second. I'm okay though," she said looking back at him, gripping the strap to her bag tightly in her uninjured hand.

Kyo smiled, even as she pulled away from him and looked into her troubled eyes.
"Have you eaten today?" He asked her, she looked pale and worn. Not good for a person in recovery. Not good at all. "Why don't you join me for some tea?" he asked, straightening up and holding out his hand to her. "I could do with an extra hand."

Obie swallowed down her pounding heart and reached up to take his hand. She knew him well. She would be safe with him, she thought as she carefully, painfully eased herself up to her feet.
"Um... okay," she said softly. "I, uh, I haven't really had a chance to yet. I just got out of class," she said, glancing down the hall in the direction she had come from.

"I'm hooome!" Kyo called with a smile as they walked into the new chaos that was their apartment. It was hard to miss that there was a new addition to their family, various baby things lay all over the place and the many cards dotted around rather gave it away.
"Make yourself at home, it you can find a space." he smiled to Obsidian and gestured to the sofa.
"I'll make you some pasta and some nice hot, sweet tea."

Aya walked out of the bedroom while pinning her bleached locks up into a messy updo with a broad smile for her husband.
"Great timing. I just got her to sleep," she grinned as she walked over to him with the intent to give him a kiss, though she stopped as Obsidian caught her eye. It took her a full moment to blink out of her surprise at the poor girl's state.
"Hey hon. It's nice to see you," she smiled warmly and closed the distance between her and Kyo to slip her arm around him. Looking away from Obie, she looked up at Kyo with a slightly arched brow before hopping up on her tip toes to kiss him quickly. "I fed her just before I put her down. Sorry I can't stay and chat. I'm going to be late," she smiled as she quickly pulled away to pull on some random bangles for her wrist and picked up her purse. "See you two later," she smiled and waved as she started for the door.
Obie looked around at the cluttered mess and smiled a little. Walking slowly over to the sofa, she picked some things up off of it and sat down, putting her bag down at her feet. Smiling as Aya walked in, she tried to ignore the expression that fell on her face by looking down at her hands.
"Hi Aya," she said softly, looking back up at her as she was greeted. Watching her send a flurry of words at her husband, B smirked a little then waved to her as she started to leave. "Bye."

Kyo kissed Aya back and gave her a squeeze before she disappeared off out the door.
"Excuse the mad house." he said, smiling as he went to make them some tea and put the pasta on. "It seems two's company, three's pure chaos." He laughed a little and leaned on the kitchen counter. "You look like you've been in the wars." He said brightly. "Are you sure you don't want to see a doctor or the nurse?"

"It's totally fine," Obie smiled softly as he apologized for the state of their house once more. Turning slightly so she could face him, she dropped her eyes to her lap and shook her head.
"No. I've already been. I've been on a doctor's excuse from classes for the last week and a half. Today is my first day back," she said, looking back up at him. "I'm okay. Really."

Kyo watched her and smiled a little as she kept insisting.
"Well, that's good. Though maybe you need to ease back into things a little easier." he said, giving her a warm smile. "No use pushing yourself if you are going to make yourself worse." He nodded and poured out some tea for her.
"Here, the sugar will help the dizziness."

Obie smiled a little and took the tea from him.
"I was okay until someone bumped into me," she lied. "It hurt a little more than I expected. It's probably time for me to take some more of the medicine the doctor perscribed for me," she said with a small shrug of her shoulder. Blowing gently on the tea, she took a small sip and glanced over towards the room that Aya had come out of.
"How is Momoka?" she asked looking up at him.

Kyo smiled and walked over to sit in the chair as he waited for the food to cook.
"Her mother's daughter." he said with a smirk. "I promise you this silence will not last long. She's just as fidgity too." He smiled fondly and looked towards the room also.
"When she wakes up I'll bring her out to play. She'll enjoy having some more attention." He smiled and took a sip of the hot tea. "I hope Rashne is looking after you well." he said with a grin.

Obie took another sip of her tea with a small smile as she watched the soft expression that fell over his features as he talked about both of his girls. His love for them both was more than obvious in the way he spoke of them.
"I'd like that," she smiled. "She's a real cutie," she said, leaning carefully forward to set her mug down without showing how much her side was hurting. It really must have been time to take her pills, she thought as she sat back.
"He is. He always takes good care of me," she smiled, folding her arm over her plastered one. "Hmm, he's probably waiting for me, now that I think about it," she said, leaning down again to pull her phone from her bag so she could text him.

Kyo grinned and nodded.
"I would expect nothing less. Just wait though, you'll be beating the mothering off with a stick soon enough." He placed the mug on the table next to the sofa and stood to check on the pasta.
"I hope it's not too rude of me to ask, but what happened to you? Were you in an accident?"

Obie looked up from the message she was typing and gave him a smile. At least he still seemed to have good faith in him, she thought, though pushed those thoughts aside with a small laugh as she looked back down to finish her message.
"More than likely. But right now, it's still kind of nice," she smiled as she sent the message. Closing her phone, she looked up at his rather direct question and swallowed a little. One could hardly call it an accident.
"Um..." She hadn't actually told anyone about what had happened. She hadn't wanted to upset Ra about it any more so had kept most of the details to herself. "Yeah. It was an accident," she said, reaching up to run her fingers through her hair. "A car accident." That seemed like the most logical explanation, she decided.
