There's this on-going problem with stupid annoying hackers.
Hackers are people that try to steal your password so they can take everything from your account.
I've been getting a lot of PM's lately from hackers and thought that I should let you guys know a little about them.
Usually, a hacker will send you a PM claiming to be Gaia Administrators. Most say something about you being a hacker and they need to have your password, username, and email address.
Gaia tells us time and time again that they will NEVER ASK FOR OUR PASSWORDS and you have to believe them. No Gaia mod will as for your password, so if someone says they're a mod and need your password: DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!
Here's a sample of a hacker's message:

Quote:
Dear [insert username here],
Gaia has been receiving reports of you attempting to hack users' account. It is mandatory that you send us your username and password so your account can be cleared of any further suspicion. Usually Gaia Administrators wouldn't ask for user passwords, but our server went down June 17th, 2007 and we have lost access to viewing the users' accounts.
Sincerely,
Gaia Administrators

That is just a sample of what a hacker might send you. Also, a hacker may have their avatar deleted so that it looks like a gray shadow of a person. So I repeat, NEVER give away your password.
