Do they actually state in the game that Angela is a lombax?

I don't believe they do, though letters to Insomniac might have stated this true. Wikipedia says said is is not true though (I'm not sure if it's accurate though), and that Angela is not a Lombax.

Originally, I posted that she was a Lombax, because half a year ago, I remember reading that she was a Lombax. But then, I went to Wikipedia to do some reading yesterday, it said that she was not. Wikipedia Article-List of Characters from the Ratchet and Clank Series Angela Cross She used to work for Megacorp's genetics division, but quit over the lack of testing on a new project to create an artificial pet. Not allowed to correct its flaws (namely, its large appetite and savage nature), Angela disguised herself and stole the prototype creature. However, Megacorp recruited Ratchet to get it back from her, so she hired the mercenary/crime organization Thugs-4-Less to protect her, and tried to get Ratchet out of the way using his partner Clank as bait. Unfortunately, both tactics failed, and when Thugs-4-Less was bought out of their contract by a third party, and Angela was forced into talking Ratchet and Clank into helping her stop Megacorp from releasing the still-highly dangerous Protopet all over the galaxy. Angela is, notably, much taller than Ratchet, but it is unknown whether this is due to gender, age, environment, or genetic factors. She also happens to be more than a little clumsy, possibly due to her height and lack of tail. Although it seems she is one, she is not a Lombax. She also does a terrible cat impression. Voiced by Kath Soucie.

yo i got r + c 2 and wiki is wrong she does have a tail coz on the mining
level she has got a tail

I think she might be something extremely close to a Lombax, just a slight variation. But she does look remarkably similar.

I wouldn't say so. He only has three fingers after all. There doesn't seem to be any humans in the games.
