A network of halls and rooms under the main Buffalo Labs building. This place hides many mysteries and oddities. And maybe even a surviving lab tech or two. The place was hidden well, and zombie infiltration was minimal.

At the bottom of the stairs, Xander gave the device a wave through the air. Conviniently, it showed that the signal he was lookiong for was coming from a room not ten feet away. Xander went to the room, and opened the door, to be met by someone. But not who he was looking for.
The stranger's hands shot straight up in a "don't shoot" pose, which wasn't too surprising, seeing as how Xander had drawn one of his guns upon entering the halls. What was surprising was that he didn't remember drawing it. Must be becoming a habit, he thought to himself. What with all the flesh-munchers and poorly-lit hallways. "Who are you?" Xander asked the man. He looked him over. Pale, glasses, a lab coat with a hawk and skull emblem over the pocket. "Nevermind," Xander said, as the man opened his mouth to answer. "It's sort of obvious. Well, to those in the 'know' at least. And as you can gather from the gun pointed at you, I'm not one to be messed with. So I suggest you help me with my little dilema."
[The emblem is supposed to be that of the "shadow corporation", or something.]

Xander gave his device another wave, and found the tracking unit he was looking for removed from it's target and sitting on a nearby desk. "Damn it," he said, under his breath. Xander gestured with his gun to a nearby computer terminal. "I need a password for that?" he asked the lab tech. His new 'friend' shook his head no. "Good." Xander (keeping his weapon trained on the man in the labcoat) went over to the terminal and began typing.

After several minutes of searching, the screen showed a personnel/subject file titled Remus. Xander scanned over the document. His eyes stopped on 'status'. "Located in Cryo Room Three, Capsule Seven," Xander said, more for his memory's benefit than the other person watching him.
Xander walked toward the door. "Now if you'll excuse me," he said. "I've got someone to find. I won't hurt you if you stay here, but if you come after me, all bets are off."
"No worries there," the tech said. "I've got no loyalties to this place or its owners. Owners which, in fact, I'm quite certain are dead."

Several minutes of jogging brought Xander to a door marked 'Cryo Room Three'. He entered, and easily found Capsule Seven. Mostly because it was one of the few that had a human occupant. The others held abominations. "There you are, 'ya b*****d," Xander said, pressing some buttons on the capsule's control panel as he did so. "Gettin' caught. And frozen. Both of which made it extremely difficult to find you."

Remus fell limply out of the chamber as soon as he was 'thawed'. "I've fallen," he said, in a mockingly meek voice. "And I can't get up." Xander kicked him in the side. Then helped him up.

"So . . . what happened?" Xander asked, after Remus had managed to keep his balance.
"Well, I got caught," Remus said.
"Surprise, surprise," Xander said. "I mean what else?"
"That's about it. They found out I was copying files for us to use, and 'detained' me. Oh, and they injected me with some o' that zombie crap."
Xander just stared at Remus for a minute. "Funny. You don't look dead."
"Yeah. Apparently they also gave me some kind of stabilizer, too. Now it does what it was meant to do. Namely, make me a super-soldier."
"We can talk more later. Somewhere else. Ya' know, safe."
"There's something I'd like to do first," Remus said. "Some dudes I'd like you to meet."

[[I've put this off too long. Instead of finishing, I'm just going to give a little summary of what I was going to do with these two so I can use them elsewhere in the guild. Basically, Remus went to show Xander some other 'residents' of the place (who I will add as NPC's later), only to find that they had escaped. Then they found Remus's weapons (pistol and a katana), and a couple of walkie-talkies, then left. There. I finally finished.]]
