Talk about the short, but wonderfull manga series here! I've only read the first volume myself. I've only read the first volume too! crying
Although so far I personally like the story line, despite being slightly confused at first.
Sugisaki always makes amazing characters, too. 3nodding
( I finally saw Yen and Jin in that one episode of DNAngel! )

( I finally saw Yen and Jin in that one episode of DNAngel! )Yup! They make an apperance in the Vandembaug episode. In the first like 30 seconds of the episode you see them in the crowd of people at the funeral.

Kaito Daaku Dranc Sanura ( I finally saw Yen and Jin in that one episode of DNAngel! ) Yup! They make an apperance in the Vandembaug episode. In the first like 30 seconds of the episode you see them in the crowd of people at the funeral.

By the way, from something I spotted on Amazon.. I looks like ADV Manga my release Lagoon Engine Einsatz in it's own paper back form around mid-November. 3nodding

Kaito Daaku Sounds cool, but ive been reading Einstatz (Wich BTW is German and means "Killings" if any of you were curious) through Newtype and I find it a bit difficult to understand. sweatdrop
And from what I can gather, this paper back will be all the NewType inserts combined into one book, which would be extremely useful for someone such as myself, since I've only read one of the inserts.

I should try to find it and read it. Maybe I'll like it. When I saw that preview of it in Newtype USA, I squealed when I found out it was by Sugasaki-sensei. XD What I did read of it, confused me. But I've said that already so I'll shut up now. gonk

And the manga insert in Newtype was Lagoon Engine Einstatz, not Lagoon Engine. They're completely different, yet have some sort of connection. So you might wanna' look into Lagoon Engine, since it's not quite as confusing as Einstatz. domokun

Yes; Lagoon Engine Einsatz in NewType was very hard to follow. I noticed in the new NewType there's an article called "Secrets of Lagoon Engine Einsatz Revealed"! or something to that effect. I'm going to have to borrow my friend's copy and read that!
All I gathered from the NewType inserts was that there was a girl with a special earring that held a special liquid to help her fight some sort of monsters, and she wanted to be a boy. That's all I remember. sweatdrop
But I'm really loving Lagoon Engine the manga! All the characters are great. 3nodding Jin is my favorite. I love his go-getter attitude and the faces he makes. I love how he keeps taunting Suguru Mikami by calling him "Branch". xd My favorite scene of Jin is early in Volume 2, when he's sitting out in the hall looking all angry, just before Ayato comes to talk to him. smile

I never new yen and Jin where in episode 10 of dnmangel althought i wonder what was up with the green haired boy, now i know. I have volumes 1-2 and just waiting for number 3. anyways I have only read one insert of lagoon engine einstatz but it seemed really good. So if adv does release it I will have to by it.
