I got a question, The icons that are on the main page, did you credit the creators, for making them? I have seen most of them from Livejournal communties? Just wonder.
I don't think its possible to credit them. The pics are all over the place and its hard to track down the real creator.
Yes it is possible because they only place the person got it was from the La corda doro communities and/or icontests over Live journal, I am also a part of the community as a member. The la corda doro communities were having problem, because they found a person stealing icons from the communties and claiming them as their and I don't want to happen here, so it's better than saying where the person has gotten the icon. I know for sure some are 100iconfiend communties. Cause my friend has done the Yunoki ones. The Tsukimori one is from a person that I had made a banner for cause it was placed in the icontest that week.
The way I know which icons are from is that when I download them from is that I make a folder with the persons name and put the icons I like from there in that folder, or if it's like one or two icons, I'll put it in the file name so I know who to make credits too. so It not hard to credit a person.
The person that made icons worl very hard to color the manga, add textures. I am not saying they are the artist, unless they drew the art in the icon. I am an iconmaker myself and I would like to be credit for the icon, but not the artwork I used, cause it goes to the orginal artist. Or better yet credit the community, if not sure.
I am not blaming anyone, I was just asking.
