In the Magekind storyline, Lorin Masters is the arch-villain, formerly the Magekind's best friend. Lorin Masters has learned a lot since high-school, this is his answer to some comments made about him.

May not have seen before

Let's say a man gets drunk one day
Runs over some old b***h 'at was in his way - the whore,
We've seen this before.

They take him in and lock him away
He walks out on bail the next day, no more
It's been done before

So running free 'til court convenes
Is a murd'rin', giddy S.O.B. on tour
It wasn't news before.

Or they knock a fellow onto the street
Take 'im by the shirt and kick 'im in the seat, the poor
Have all seen that before.

I don't think I've lost my mind
Your "sanity" 's too far behind the shore
You stayed too long before-

Perhaps you can see a couple cases
Where the institution played the wrong bases, sure
They've done that before

But I don't yet think I've made my case
It happens here and every place I pore
I've seen them all before.

You sit comfy in your over-stuffed chair
While guys stick crap in children's hair and more
It's always worked before

As long as the junkies all pay tax
The system keeps a lot more lax, and sure
They've been busted once before.

As long as killers pay their keep
The cops just nod and wink and sleep some more
