Ah, but that's what makes it cute.
Though I don't think Yukina's completely oblivious. She definitely is aware of Kuwabara's depth of affection for her and probably knows that he thinks of her in a non-friendship way. (I mean...it's kind of hard NOT to see this.) I just think that since she was raised on that isolated island, she might not understand a love relationship, and therefore not completely recognize it.

I agree with Wyndi, I doubt she's completely oblivious. I mean, just watching how he acts and the way he talks around her it sorta screams 'I like you'!
I am not a fan of cannon parrings, I tend to tear appart the relationships and put them with new people. I mean, if I wanted to read about the parring I'd just open up my manga. No offense to anyone who does like cannon though. Hey, if you like it kudos! 3nodding
But yeah, me being a fan of tearing apart relationships this comes as a surprise when I say I don't like to mess with Kuwabara/Yukina. It's too adorable for words, I mean who'd want to mess that up? I only have one exception, but other than that I leave the parring alone.

She's not oblivious, she just doesn't know how to feel about Kuwabara really. The girl was raised on an island full of women who hated men and groomed to be the same. Also, she's asexual, physically speaking that is, it is not to say she can't fall for a young man, quite the contrary. Something could happen like what happened with her mother. She could find a man, fall in love and "mate" with him while she's in her cycle, therefore producing twins, like her and Hiei... at least I think it would be kind of neat of that happened.
Anyway, back to my point. It's not that she doesn't like Kuwabara, or doesn't know of the affection he's lavishing on her, it's that she's confused by it all because it's not something she's encountered a lot. Personally I would love to see this relationship bear fruit, I would love Yukina to finally sort herself all out and make a relationship with Kuwabara, because to me they are just the sweetest things ever.
