The Akatsuki leader is a very mysterious man. When you see his face it's always half or completely black and all you see is his eyes. There are many theories that he is the 4th hokage or Uchiha Madara (and sometimes Bleach's Ichigo Kurosaki). Who do you think he is?

I would like to see him as the 4th but we won't know for sure until we see his face.

My friend led me into the belief (I'm really behind, bear with me) by explaining various people, that it might be White Fang, and i'm sticking with that.

It's not the 4th, I'm sure, because in one chapter there is a pic of all the akatsuki members, and the leader's hair is orange.

We can rest assured that either Tobi IS Obito or Akat Leader IS Yondaime because they skipped the Kakashi Gaiden in the anime.
Why is this significant? Because, they didn't want any voice comparisons x.x
One of the statements is true, I'm hoping it's both xD

Ninja can ressurect the dead. I'm sure they can dye their hair. Anyway, I've already come up with several theories on the matter, and strongly believe Madara Uchiha is the Akatsuki leader: In episode one of Naruto: Shippuden, Sasuke uses the power of his Sharingan to get inside Naruto's mind and confront the Kyubi resting inside him. The Kyubi then comments on Sasuke's power being similar to that of another powerful and fierce Uchiha -- Madara. In Japanese, Madara may translate as "mottles" or "speckles," further proving my claim. The Akatsuki leader has several piercing-like studs on the bridge of his nose, all of which resembling speckles. People have stated that Madara couldn't be the Akatsuki leader simply because he's dead. So is the Fourth, so that argument's down the drain. Still, keep in mind there are ressurection jutsus to bring back the dead and even jutsus to preserve one's youth (explianing how Tsunade keeps the appearance of a 20-year-old despite being 50). Of course, there's much more evidence to proof this right and to proof this wrong. But for now, I suggest we wait and see what happens next.
