I'm not sure how I feel about what happened in the sixth book.
You might want to warn people about spoilers if they only watch the movies or if they have only read up to a certain book.

It seems like she wrote the 6th book to seem more like a movie for some reason so it wasn't as good. My favorite was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!

In my opinion it was the best written and had the best story line even though it was definately the saddest. I hate Umbridge too, she is horrible! Do you hate Sirius? eek I liked him and was sad when he died. Are you mored excited about the movie then the book.

Ive always preferred the books..It just seems to me in the movies..some of the acting is terrible..dont ya think?

@R3gGI3- Yup. I think they didn't cast the right people for the characters, well I just pictured them a little differently. I think Hermione, in the movie, is too pretty and takes everyone else's lines that they had in the book. I don't understand why they gave Neville fake bucked teeth and not Hermione for the first movies either. I could go on ranting on how horrible the movies are forever, but not as long as ranting about how great the books are. lol!

R3gGI3 Ive always preferred the books..It just seems to me in the movies..some of the acting is terrible..dont ya think? Rupert Grint (Ron) Is definately right though. As for all the other people who were cast, only Severus and McGonagal were cast correctly in my opinion. Daniel Radcliffe can't act for beans and it seems his acting has gotten worse instead of getting better. He was actually half decent in the Philosephers stone. As for the books, the Prisoner of Azkaban was my favourite. They didn't do the movie too badly for that either. It could have been better, but It could have been a lot worse as well.

I preferred the old Dumbledore in the movies, The new dumbledore seems quite pervy to me xD..But some of the acting from the older characters was excellent eg Mad Eye Moody's acting was very believeable, but they couldve made that fake eye of his more believeable lol

One thing i have to give J.K. Rowling cudo's for is the fact that she's stayed true to her original plans instead of being swayed by her ever growing fan base. And you know something? the publisher didn't think that Harry Potter (the first book) would be very successful!
