umm how to describe this......
ok ive got it, basicly if you had an anthromorphic vertion of your self (sorta half animal) what would you be. I for one am a dragon i'll post a pic if i can find the link....

Furry
Real Furries
This is a place for Real Furries only. How do you know if you're a Real Furry? (Well for one you know there is no such thing as a Real Furry, per se.) A Real Furry, however, knows that furry in and of itself is different for everyone. It's not just about putting on fox/cat ears and a tail. It's not just about Neko's and Feline like characters in Anime. It's about full on anthromorphic creatures in either quad or anthro form. In short, a Furry Persona.
What's a Furry Persona / Fursona?
Well one, it's the first sure sign that you are in fact a furry. Think of it as your alter ego. Like Clark Kent and Superman. Only you tend to get a lot more hairballs than Superman ever did. The point, however, is that your furry persona is you or how you would like to be seen, be it just online or spiritually and in the real world. Furry Persona's come in all forms. Just a few are Wolves, Felines, Foxes, Birds, Horses, Hyenas, Otters, Raccoons, and Dragons. (Dragons and other reptiles are often referred to as Scalies for obvious reasons but still fall under the umbrella term of Furry. The same is true for Birds, also known as Avians.)
Culture
Furry is a culture in a lot of ways. So we ask that you be familar with some of the terms such as yiff, merf, and scritch. Ever heard of AnthroCon also known as AC? Or maybe Midwest FurFest (MFF), Memphit Fur Meet (MFM), or Further Confusion (FC)? These are names of Furry Cons and if you know about them, have ever been, or are planning on going, then congratulations you're either a furry, or very well versed in the culture.
Different Interpretations
Furry is often used as an umbrella term for OtherKin, Therian's, Were's, and members of the Furry Fandom (sometimes much to the displeasure of OtherKin, Therian's and Were's). The term here isn't meant to disrespect the complexity of OtherKin, Therian's, or Were beliefs, but include them in our welcome here. Members of The Furry Fandom, OtherKin, Therian's, and Were's are all quite welcome here, as long as they meet the above guidlines for Adult Behavior. Humans with cat ears and tails, however, just don't cut it.
Clothes
Quite frankly we don't care how you dress here. If you want to wear cat/fox ears and tail or dress up as a werewolf then go right ahead. If not, or if you just don't have the gold for it, you're still welcome to post here. We understand that not all furries find outfits on Gaia that meet with their furry personas (Dragons and other Scalies especially).
^ oh and Amairis for some reason i see you as a cat.....
