((Random title, private rp. Don't post unless you are me or DeD.)) Kiz yawned as he layed down next to one of the small streams that lead to the large lake nearby. Usually this little stream was dry but due to recent rain it was now flowing with water drain off. Kiz was enjoying the excess water, meant he didn't have to walk to the lake to get his drink. He could get his water here and take a slight nap before he had to go hunt for his dinner.

As she spotted the lake ahead, the emerald lioness gave a fainst smile. She had left the pride once more, clearing her thoughts with a walk. It was tiring, though, and she really hadn't had anything to eat or drink in a while.
Slowly, silently, she neared the lake, dipping her head down to take a drink. Only then did she notice the lion at one of the streams nearby, ears flicking as she lifted her head once more. Her tail flicked to one side and she stood up straight, glancing at the lion curiously.

Kiz's whiskers twitched and his fur began to stand on end. It was an odd feeling that made him shiver and that shiver was something he only got when he was being watched. Kiz glanced around a bit and his light blue eyes landed on the emerald lioness near the lakes edge. He perked his ears up as he looked at her curiously.
He'd seen so few other lions that he was stumped on what to do. Leave her alone? Go talk to her? Ignore her? He didn't move but kept his gaze on her waiting for her to make the first move. If she wanted to talk he would but if she didn't he would leave her be and go on about his own business.

Her muscles were tense as she started to walk near him, ready to flee if need be. Her eyes scanned over him curiously as she neared, ears flicking.
"Hello..." She called out, once in hearing distance. Her voice was soft, timid almost, cautious. A light smile played on her maw as she bowed her head; a force of habit.
"M'name's Ayana, member of Benoni's le Roi de Sorrow." She looked back at him, "What brings you out here?" She arched a brow, blinking*

Kiz watched the lioness closely as she neared, her muscles were tensed as were his. He didn't feel like chancing getting hurt but he wouldn't attack unprovoked. His ears flicked at her voice. "Afternoon." He replied to her greeting. His voice was not deep but it was not high pitching, it was a medium, an inbetween that still held the power that could carry it for miles if needed.
Calmly he bowed his head to her, mimicing her own bow in case it was a custom of hers that he did not want to offend. "Just hunting and exploring the land for anything of interest." He replied to her question while looking over the markings on her body that he could see from where he lay. "Oh and I am Kizingiti, member of no pride. Pleasure to meet you Miss Ayana."

A light smile played on her maw as she neared. "A wanderer then, hm?" She arched a brow, tail flicking. Emerald green eyes scanned over his purple toned markings.
He looked... interesting, it that was the right word for it. Different from any of the lions she had seen before. Nodding, she flicked an ear and sat down so she was comfortable. This male looked as if he would pose no threat.
"This land" She looked about, "Has a group of things that would interest anyone. Have you newly arrived? Or have you been here for a while?"

Kiz relaxed as Ayana spoke. She seemed friendly enough and Kiz certainly didn't mind the company of a friendly lion. In fact he enjoyed it.
"Oh I've been here for a while. Haven't really gone very far from this area since I got here though." Kiz said sheepishly as he admitted the one flaw to his wanderings.

"Ah, well" She smiled and nodded her head. "If you'd like, I could possiably show you around some time. It's... a vast area, but there are plenty of different types of places around here..."
Her tail flicked from side to side and she flicked an ear, flakes waving in the air.
