(thoughts at 3 am)
back in the day,
be it the 70's, 80's or 90's,
we all would sit in a circle as the teacher told us a story.
then we went to sleep, and dreamt whatever frivolities would emerge from our empty, therefore fertile, sphere of thought.
unfortunately, you may have observed along with me, that life loses its color with time.
that's why we either value children the way we do, or envy them.
but I digress,
i know how to bring the color back, i know how,
but you're afraid.
you people don't trust me,
you're afraid of sacrifice,
you're afraid of death without (yes, it is) socially defined success instead of death without stark happiness,
and that's because you're distracted. not only do you no longer fail to realize the world around you, you become part of its mundane, repetitive orbit around your former home planet, human perception.

(about the familiarity between social trends in high school and in Gaia's General Discussion forums)
You can't be yourself. You have to make yourself unquestionable and entirely invulnerable to criticism, and the outcome more often than not is not successful anyway. Otherwise, you'll be bombarded by negative comments (oh-no) by people whose names are recognized in this forum and then you forever smear your reputation. I bet they all say they hate high school, if they're still in it. I bet they all hate, in addition to other aspects, all the two-timers and the gossiping and flakiness. That would piss ANYONE off, right? Evidently, though, they're bringing it around everywhere they go. It's a disease. They're bred to be anyone but themselves.
They're bringing high school to Gaia. :[ Think about it. Half of the ******** here complain about fat people or which GD'er they'd want to ******** or "OMG LOOKAT M'BOOBS!" or sometimes that one outspoken liberalist who wants everyone to hate KFC and Christianity. The remaining topics are rubbish debates about sex and the like, misplaced topics and trolling - similar to those kids in school who really dont make much of an impact on the social network. There IS a system to blame, but it's all of our faults the GD - and High School - are the ways they are.

(about marijuana)
Look, we ALL know it's unhealthy for our brains and our lungs. We know that. We just don't let it stop us from doing it. And it's not like we have no REASON to do it - It's ******** awesome. I think we could put it to good use rather than shunning it completely like it's some horrible, horrible epidemic. I'm sure half of you dopey ******** who say they're trying to take care of their bodies are just saying it out of SPITE and not because they actually do keep track of their BMA every ******** day and eat healthy. Besides, you're only improving your chances of being a geriatric. So pick one:

Disgruntled, underpriveledged senior citizen with limited vision, hearing and mobility... (But you've got that life experience under your belt. Ha ha, tell me how much that was worth the effort when you're 80.)
OR...
...
Young, high and solving the insolvable, eating the inedible, and producing ALL OF YOUR MUSIC.
