Bambi was a bit playful as he had the heart of a little milk stealer. He had taken off his overalls and jumped into the pond that had been so perfectly placed in a little place where Bambi thought only he knew about. He splashed about in the cool water on this hot summer day. it could've gone up to 40 degrees today! Bambi felt sort of happy that he knew of this place where the water was clean and no bugs were there. His overalls lay on the ground in a small pile. He dived into the water with his whole body in.

Bambi popped his head out of the water and shook the water off the tuff of hair in the front of his head. He stopped as he looed over to see a new mouse. He looked at her as she watched him. we ent to the edge of the water and grabbed his overalls without saying a word. He ran into some trees with his pants.

"Just a moment..." He said behind the trees as he shook off the water and wore his dry overalls.

Bambi came out dressed and dry. "Hi, what's your name?" He asked with a happy grin on his face. He fixed the tuff of hair on the top of his head. His ears twitched as he got some water in them. He walked closer to her and spoke. "my name's Bambi." He said softly, reaching a paw towards the female for a handshake. He wanted to make a friend, especially on his first time out into the real world. He realized it was big yet small.
