The witching hour...that must have been the one that fried my brain. I think I made it to the 800th page? I had to return it anyway, school year was about up. lol
Anyone ever understand wtf Lasher was? Its been over a year and a half since I had read it, my memory fails me.

did anyone know that the witches house is Anne Rice's real house in new Orleans. The some street and ever thing how is looks in the book is how it looks in real life....

I've only read the first book but I really enjoyed it. It was like this giant case history of a "haunted" family. How could I not love that? it did take quite a while to finish though and by the time I was done with it I needed a break. Sadly, that is the last Rice book I read. I kept buying them but I haven't picked the later ones up to read them as of yet. I just know that it will eat up so much time. Even worse, so much time has passed now that I probably need to re-read all the books from her I've read...especially since they tie into each other now. That is a LOT of reading I have to do.

I absolutely loved 'The Witching Hour' (haven't read the other two yet), I finished reading it a couple of weeks ago, actually.
It was almost like studying for history class, but it's one of my favorite books now biggrin . Although, I thought that (even if Lasher would do anything to have a body) Stella and Antha dying the way they did was rather unnecessary. And couldn't Rowan have been a neurosurgeon even if she had stayed with her mom and not been adopted? Considering that the Mayfairs have billions of dollars and could've sent her through medical school... or would Rowan have gone insane?
