(This is not the only seal and it's not the first to be broken.)
At the edge of the kingdom of Angelus, in a remote area of the Lizard's mouth lies one of many temples that guards a seal of the fallen one; or the bound lord as he is known to his many devoted servants. The seal is a large crystal, taller then an average height man and wider then the widest man in the kingdom. It glowed a bizarre black and purple. Like the many others it was locked in a vault like structure and guarded by some of the strongest paladins and sorcerers.
It had been a routine day with no major disruptions until late in the evening. That being when the message came telling of a necromancer; the self proclaimed king of Sinak island. The guardsmen were quick to prepare but such preparations proved in vain, the doors to the inner chamber were smashed down by possessed suits of armour. Behind the large empty suits came the necromancer, Kanis was his name. Lesser necromancers followed behind and all were protected by a vampiric bodyguard, a woman shrouded in shadows and reeking of blood.
In the room only I and one other guard remained, escaping only because of the warriors stupidity and the arrogance of their master. They immediately began to break the seal, such a ritual would take days normally. But it would take even longer with their small numbers. With the last of my power I hid the remaining guard and sent him off to get help, leaving myself to be captured and perhaps tortured by this necromancer.
(Kanis strikes again, as we didn't do the kingdom in the north plot not all I or others intended will have happened. At this point the wolf kingdom was restored but Kanis did not get what he needed. Who could this sorcerer or sorceress be I wonder? )

A trail on condensation escaped from the young paladins mouth as he lead his horse out to the front of the inn. The horse was a jet black Gelding like it's rider it was covered in a layer of cloak material. Kain led the horse out from the stables and eyed him "Alright Sylph we've got a long ride ahead" he muttered stroking the horse carefully.
Like many of his kind it had taken lot of different horses before Kain found one that accepted him. It was an odd thing but most horses disapproved of being ridden by those who were half human and half animal. This proved true in the first five horses Kain had been given as a paladin, even as a child he'd had to learn on a horse much bigger and older then his fellow apprentices.
Kain led the horse to the front of the inn and his eyes fell on the pair of angels "So are you two planning on going?" he said, staring at the pay as he stopped in his tracks.

She opened the window and lept out, transfroming mid jump into panther form. She could just about see a flash of blue, from Kain's hair, and she galloped off towards him. She skidded to a stop, throwing snow up in the air, and spooking his horse before transforming back to humanoid form.
"Kain...I'm coming with you."

As the appearance of the large predator startled Sylph causing the horse to rear up on his hind legs. The shock caused Kain to lose balance as he was tossed to the ground. Kain first ignored the demon taking a few moments to calm the horse before looking back at her. He raised an eyebrow "You know I can only let you come if the angels agree and you swear not to reveal whats down there" he said simply eying the demon.

They approached Kian and Alchaeon eyed him with suspicion. "Where did you get to?? we were coming to meet you," he spoke. Soirka stepped round him and faced the paladin.
"The person that broke the seal must be stopped. You wanted us with you, did you not?? isn't that why you left us the note?" she asked.
"We're not going to hide from the angels. We will face them at some point... and we will do together," Alchaeon spoke.
Soirka looked towards Rihara. "I am glad you are well enough to move, it was touch and go for a while," a faint smile lit her face briefly but it was gone as the next blast of chill wind swept past them.

"Kain I swear that I will keep all things I see between us.. I cannot stay at the Inn without your presence..." she said simply. Rihara turned to the angel, pulling her cloak from a pouch, and wrapping it around her. She then said: "Thanks for all your help Soirka, and you Alchaeon...I could have been dead if you hadn't helped me." She said with a sincere tone. "So...will you allow me to follow you on this journey?" She asked Soirka and Alchaeon. Rihara wasn't sure if the angels new of her arrangement with Kain, but she was certain that in an odd way they would approve..especially the angel Alchaeon.

Kain smirked at the angel "I know and I thought with this horse next to me it would be obvious" he said mounting the horse quickly. From the saddle he eyed the trio "If you guys are coming I hope you have a mode of transport" he said pulling on the rains briefly. Sylph grunted as his master looked to the demon "Thats fine just be ware we'll be fighting a dangerous Necromancer" he said anxious to be on the move.

"Hmmm, I can keep up with you in jaguar form, but would it still be wise to get myself a horse? I mean there's a chance that I run out of energy in cat form a bit quicker than humanoid form...Know any good stables selling horses?" Rihara asked of Kain.

"We have no problems with you coming with us," Alchaeon spoke. "And we can fly... my true form is much more powerful so we might tire easily when flying in our normal forms," he added.
"Maybe we should buy horses, just in case," Soirka suggested.
"You can travel by horse, I will meet you in Angelus, i will travel in my true form, away from your eyes," Alchaeon spoke.
"What if they have discovered your... betrayal?" she choose her words carefully and saw Alchaeo's eyes flash in anger. "They will have blocked your true form from you," she spoke.
"I will meet you there," he murmured and took to the sky with his mighty wings. There was a flash of blinding light and Soirka looked upon his true form with such awe that it made her want to cry. She realised now why she felt so empty inside.

Kain shook his head at the question "No if you apologize to Sylph he probably won't mind you riding him as well" Kain stated. Kain sighed as the angel shot off into the air I was thinking of heading to Petra actually but I guess it's Angelus" he said sighing once again. This was the one thing that stuck in peoples memories if you worked with them, they were on of the proudest races on the planet. He muttered under his breath a few choice words about angels and there damned pride or as he and many paladins considered stubbornness.

Soirka sighed again and turned back to Kain. "We'll head to Petra... I think he needs some time alone... why did you need to go to Petra anyway?" she asked, tilting her head in a strange, bird-like way.

(We've been mistaking the city name for the kingdom oops.) Kain looked to the angel "I need to make a report to my superiors" he stated simply wanting to set off. The trip would take them a week at the very least and Kain had no idea if they'd reach there in time.

"You want me to apologise to the horse?" Rihara asked with one of her eyebrows raised "...Oh well here goes nothing." She said sighing "next he'll be wanting me to read the animal a bed time story.." she muttered. "Sylph, I'm..er very sorry I scared you...would you be so kind as to...erm give me a lift?" She said, her tone of voice a mix of a question, and testing the water.

"Yes horses have feelings to" he said seriously not being one to joke much. After Rihara spoke her skeptical but apparently sincere apology Sylph nodded and grunted. Kain grinned "He's accepting you a lot faster then he did me" Kain said his tail and ears twitching.
