The 26 episode series directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi of Dead Leaves fame premiered in April 2007 and is still ongoing in its broadcast. I for one am dutch so ill keep downloading... if i just figure out where since animesuki wont show me T.T im only on 11 cos i demand nice subs too, not the ones that say Kagami is a water surface? NANI!?!?

If my sources are correct, ADV has had very good dubs, I'm mostly thinking of Evangelion which I thought was great, but I am unsure of the other...

I highly disliked Eva's dub.
Then again, I highly disliked Eva.
But I almost fear for this dub... I mean, I'm buying the DVDs either way, but dubs can seriously turn a person off from a series. It might give Gurren a bad rep if it's not good. D:

I don't think there's much cause for worry. ADV has good people working for them, granted they recycle a lot of VAs into a lot of roles, but they also do more than their fair share of mecha anime, so this isn't their first time around the block.
Eva, Martian Successor Nadiesco, All the Full Metal Panic's, Dai Guard, Godannar, both Gravion and Gravion Zwei, Getter Robo, Sakura Wars and ZoE are ones I can think of off the top of my head, in addition to doing outlandish comedic shows like Excel Saga, Cromatarie High, and Get Backers. I'm not especially familiar with their serious/drama based shows, so I don't think I can speak on those, but if it's anything like the others, there shouldn't be reason to worry.
ADV is entirely capable of doing an excellent dub, and now that they're back on track, I have confidence that they'll aim to do just that.

Not to mention...I know there was a rumor that Spike Spencer (Shinji from Eva), would be Simon's voice...
He lives in California now...nowhere near the ADV studios. xd
