It is taking me a pretty long time to get through this one... not because it is uninteresting nor due to the size... but it is a bulky size... and I just have trouble reading books that aren't more holder easier...
I really like Elphie as a character she is realistic and entertaining. I also like that none of the writing is direct its more descriptional.
I enjoy the links between the traditional OZ stories and the "real-life" accounts.
After I finish I will have to seek out information about the musical... because how this is a musical absolutely baffles me.

As I get closer and closer to the end I am beginning to wonder how I really feel about Fae... I mean she has it rough but seriously has chosen a lot of her misery.

In the end I really liked the book... not my favorite but I have definitely thought about it a fair amount. I kinda began to feel more appreciative of the hardships that Elphaba went through toward the end. Also I am interested to learn what becomes of Lirr.... so I shall be reading Son of a Witch....
