This is the place to post if you are in the library.
In this library are infinite selections of books and various books that might not be available in a commoner's library.

Misha gazed at the books with awe. "Wow!!" She said to herslef quietly yet loud. She ran into the fiction area.

Haruhi walked into the library wiht a couple books. ah, the library. The only place she could come for quiet study time at school.
"lets see... History, Geography... Mathematics..." she said as she gazed at the books on the shelves.

Holy crap. This place was so quiet!
It wasn't often that Arisa came into the library. She only came once in a while to grab some interesting book, or an english dictionary.
..But why an english dictionary?
Well, because. She was taking a modren english class, and she had to learn every word she could. Though, it wasn't as easy as she thought it was.
Damn you english words, she swore mentally, glaring down at the dusty dictionary she held in one of her hands. Her back was against the sturdy shelf, while her other hand was tracing down the words and their meanings.
Damn, how did her dad learn this language? It was so damn complicated. She was almost regreting taking the stupid class in the first place.
But, no. She had to take it. If she wanted to go to America to meet her mom, well...
Actually, that's a different story. So I'll shut up.

Arisa took her eyes off of the book as she heard some loud noise. Probably just some hyper student. She shrugged, but then noticed the girly looking host, Haruhi who was just a few feet away from her.
Holy crap. And she just noticed this now?
"Yo, Haruhi!" she said, in a quiet voice, but just loud enough for the boy to hear her as she started to walk over to him. "What books are ya looking for?"

Haruhi looked over to see Arisa. "oh, nothing specific. sometimes i just like to graze through the books." she said with a smile.

Arisa gave off a smile herself, still clutching onto the english dictionary she had found eariler.
"Do you like novels?" she asked. "I read 'em sometimes, but I usually read dictionaries and manga when I'm bored."
Manga? Yes, of course. Manga is awesome.
She'd been reading it ever since the beginning of middle school. Which ones? So many that she'd lost count. Mostly shoujo manga's and weird fantasy ones, though. They were fun to read, and the drawings were awesome.
Sigh, sigh. If only she could draw that well.

"I guess so" haruhi said. "though I've never really gotten into manga before, I've seen some of the drawings." she pondered out loud. because she'd rather study than read for fun, she never really thought about it.

((that's the opposite of me. I love manga over all xD))

The shadow could have been found at a table, reading a book on 'How to earn more money by exploiting your fellow class mates' (xD)

He turned the page, pushing his glasses up, soon stating, "...Interesting"

Ooc||:
Manga is the best. xP
Though.. I think I might make Arisa a little to dramatic about the whol situation. ^^;

Bic||:

"Never got into manga?!" she exclaimed, though quickly shut herself up. "Haruhi, every single decent person in Japan reads manga. You have to read it~!"
Wasn't she making a big deal out of this? Ah, who cares if she was. Arisa was still surprised that this boy hadn't ever gotten into manga. She was sure even some of her teachers read it.
"Take a break from studying, and I can show you a bunch of different manga's I know you'll like. Oh! Did you know, there's this one about-" She shut herself up, though, once she saw another Host Club member reading some book at a nearby table.
She stuck out her index finger and pointed at the classes wearing boy.
"I bet Kyouya reads it, too."

She nodded, somewhat proud of herself for some reason.

"kyoya-sempai reading manga... thats rather hard to imagine" she said as she giggled a bit. there was no harmful intent in her words.
"I guess it might be kinda fun to read manga" haruhi replied, "ill try it sometime." she said with a smile

((im always dramatic with manga xD when somethings funny, I laugh really hard, or when somethings sad, i tend to cry.
lol not really, but ya get it))

Actually.. yeah, that was quite the funny thought. Arisa giggled a bit herself, imagining the boy silently reading manga in his room.
Man, she'd pay to see that.
Shaking that off, the girl listened to Haruhi's response.
And whoa- she was actually able to make him laugh, and smile! Awesome.
The girl smiled herself, nodding.
"Good, good," she said. "Y'know, I bet somewhere in this huge, "high-class" library, they have manga. We should go on a hunt for some."
The girl nodded. She needed a new manga to read.

Ooc||:
Haha, that's the same with me. I get mad, and I actually yell at the characters. >>;
And you should've seen me at the end/near end of Fruits Basket. I was crying like a little baby. ><;;

"hm, there probably is some kind of manga in here." Haruhi said thinking.
manga in the library of one of the most prestigious schools ever. I'd love to see that she thought to herself.
"ya know, I guess that it might be fun once in a while, and it will give me reason to be late for the club" she joked.

(( I haven't finished fruits basket yet, but im getting there! its one of the only mangas that have made me cry, when kyo first turned into the monster form and all that.[LONG TIME AGO] lately all of the bad things keep happening to MY favourite characters! D: in Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, fai is going crazy, and in Hana-kimi[I just finished it] I felt so sorry for him when the other guy was chosen over him! ;.; ))

Arisa nodded. She actually hadn't looked for manga in this library yet. Hopefully they didn't just have romance or really crappy shojou stuff.
Though, she did like shojou- if one of the characters had a deep dark secret. And if there was alot of angst. Now, that made things fun.
She smiled at Haruhi, getting an idea.
"Well, if they ever ask why you're late, you can always say you were on a manga date with your favourite senpai!" she joked, laughing a bit. "But really, to find the best manga is to go to some little book store that no one has heard of. I usually go to one that's near a market place somewhere around here.. but, they have really good book stores in Osaka."
She nodded to herself. Of course, any manga-fanatic would go to far away places to get the book they wanted.. right?

Ooc||:
That made me cry, too! >_<;; I felt so sorry for Kyou. I don't know what made me cry more- the manga or the anime.
And YES. Tsubasa is so sad! The relationship between Fai and Kuro-chan is growing stronger, though. Yay for yaoi angst! x.x;
PostPosted: Mon Aug 06, 2007 11:23 am

"well, I've been to some book stores near the market, but usually for school books. the amnga section was really big... and I always see some of the neighbor kids in there" haruhi said as she nodded. she wasn' a big manga fan, so she never thought about going all the way to osaka for a book.
"wow, to go to osaka for that, must mean your a big fan, huh?" she asked.

((well, im not really a yaoi fan. im sorry it just kinda creeps me out ^^;; no offense to the mangas or its fans. BUT! I am a gynormus fai fan, he's so smexy ;D and him going crazy is like tearing me apart D': ))

Arisa nodded a bit.
"They usually are pretty big," she said. "Manga has really been getting popular these days. I heard that they have really big selections in America, too."
Jeez, why was she so interested in America? Even if she learned the English language and went to the states, it's not like she'd find who she was looking for.
Alright, that's all I'm saying about that.

Hearing Haruhi's next remark, Arisa couldn't help but jump a bit.
"W-well, it's not like I'm a big otaku over manga," she said, nervously laughing. "My brother's friend owns a book store over there, and he usually keeps me posted when they get interesting novels or manga I like."
Mhm. She just slightly embarassed herself... some how.

Ooc||:
Well, it use to creep me out. But my Senpai got me into it.. x.x
She corrupted my mindddd. xP
And YES. He is very smexy. I keep getting teary-eyed when I read the chapters. ><;;
