Note: There was only a limited amount of space in the
poll, so I left 1 and 2 out. I kept 3 in because its recently
been re-released on the DS. 11 was left out because it
doesn't deserve to be a part of the main series and isn't traditional.

Final Fantasy
that name brings back so many memories ^^
how i couldnt find that damn secret aeon in X after searching everywhere and getting eveything!!!
good times...he..he 0_o

The Secret Aeon? There's the Magus Sisters and Anima.
If you mean Anima, she's in the ruined temple that you start the game off in after Auron takes you away from Zanarkand. You have to open the chests in the game that reveal her symbol when you open them, then dive into the water where you have to fight the weird creature you faced at the beginning of the game, and head into the temple from underwater there.
The Magus Sisters require you to have Anima already with you as well as every other Aeon, and you have to beat Belgamine with all of them before you can get them. They're in the Remiem Temple in the Calm Lands, and you need a Chocobo in order to get there.
Final Fantasy VII is my favourite out of all of them.

Honestly, its too hard to choose a fav FF game for me, all the ones i have played r just too good to choose from.

It's like that for a lot of other things with me, but we're all different. This thread isn't about favourites as such, it's just a thread about the series in general.

It's cool to know we have similar tastes Mel. Cuz I just love FF7. It's, in my humble opinion, the best one ever! I have never seen a coolest magic system in the series, seriously!
BTW, do we need a different thread for FFT games or do you think here would be fine (I want to know if I can start one)? After all, FFT games are not exactly the same as they are more strategy than RPG. AS far as I can tell, there's gonna be another FFT game released for the DS & PSP sometime soon but I don't know when.

I have to say my favourite FF game would have to be 7. Although I like them all just something about 7 screams to me. I am looking into the rumours that there will be re-release of it on the PS3 with much better graphics, does anyone know any more information about this?
For items I love Phoneix Down's probably because if gives me another chance, which I very often need.
As anyone here played the Dirge of Ceberus yet? It was interesting and I liked how we found out about Vincent and so on so what about anyon else?

Gee, it stinks for me but I have no info on that PS3 re-release of FF7. I wish I did but I rarely check the net for stuff like that.
And what's worse, I haven't even been able to see or try Dirge of Cerberus. A friend of mine said she liked it but I can't remember much about what she said. rolleyes

Currently it's still all rumours. I heard that at E3 when they demonstrated the power of the PS3 by making the FFVII intro technical demo, and then announced it was only a demo and they weren't going to remake it, a Japanese man stood up and threw his chair at the Square officials.

I don't know if the thing at E3 truly happened. According to LazarusOwenhart it did. I think he said he watched the video of it, but I can't seem to find anything.
So many people have made a fuss about a remake of FFVII for the next gen consoles that we believe Square Enix just can't afford not to make it now. I have also heard that if they did it might be for something like the PSP rather than the PS3. I'm not entirely sure though. Rumours, rumours and yet more rumours.

So Mel, are you saying you would buy a PS3 just for the remake of FF7? My goodness! I don't think I would... I rather see it released on both the PS3 and the PSP so I could try and get a PSP. Not only for that game but, for CV chronicles as well (not to mention a few others that caught my eye). mrgreen
