I've done this before once or twice, or at least tried to... Basically what I'm going for here is a list of "Cartoon Physics"--things that at least usually happen in a cartoon that are at least extremely unlikely in the real world, if not impossible. Add or correct anything that you think hasn't already been posted here.
Here's a running list of what's been said thus far: 1.If you attempt to shoot yourself with a bow and arrow, or someone attempts to take something that you are carrying, you will probably be substituted for the arrow or object. 2.If you run off of a cliff, gravity does not apply until you have both (1) learned what gravity is and (2) seen that you are not standing on solid ground with your own eyes. 3.The rabbit always wins. ALWAYS. Unless he's up against a tortoise, in which case the tortoise always wins. 4.Products by a company called "Acme" only work without backfiring when wielded by someone with good intentions (and even then, rarely). 5.The 'good' character always has an escape route or lucky break when the 'evil' one seems to be winning.

Actually, acme products do occasionally work--can't think of any examples, but it happens when it's not some predator trying to get food like the coyote.

...um... well, I guess an anvil hanging over a characters head, not dropping until they notice it's shadow and look up, counts as the whole cliff-gravity thing...

Probably, actually... we'll move it maybe, next time Xin is on, so he's not shocked... (And horrified at being forced into the OOC... o.o)
