Hello everybody!
I am anbuhikaru, head of the fundraiser commitee, and traveler of....oo wait, we didn't decide that yet...oo well....
we are doing a fundraiser!!!
WHY?:
1) our guild has become a complete mess, there are about 10000000 threads, and about 999999 of them are inactive......(no offence deus mortes)
2) if we can make a more organised guild, we will be able to monitor the inactive threads
3) my idea was to make more links in the top box, each will have a specific category, and we will be able to organise the guild better, and also monitor the inactive threads. but these boxes cost a freaking 2500 gold per link, and that just sucky, but we can't do anything about it.
WE CANNOT EXPECT DEUS MORTES TO PAY FOR ALL THOSE LINKS!!
HE MAY BE RUNNING THE GUILD, BUT SERIOUSLY, WE NEED LIKE 50K FOR THIS PROJECT, AND IT IS JUST MEAN TO EXPECT HIM TO COUGH UP ALL THAT GOLD.
HOW?:
well, to tell you the truth, i have plenty of ideas, but since this guild has more than one members than just me and deus mortes, i think that we should get some ideas from members of the guild
WHO?:
well, deus has given me permission to choose as many people i need to run this fundraiser....i will try to choose people who post here, just tell me your ideas, what you think of our guilds untidiness, or if u think it is neat stare tell me why u think so
WHEN?:
when i have ideas on what to do about the fundraiser and have chosen my crew members, i will start this fundraiser!!
NATURALLY, ALL DONATIONS TOWARDS THE GUILD WILL BE WELCOME, JUST SEND ME A TRADE TITLED GUILD! THANK YOU!

How about dividing the 50k between the entire guild. If we have enough active members it shouldnt be too hard. if not then someone could create a Quest Thread somewhere and just use the gold that way.

People who run art shops or do some sort of mini shop here on Gaia can take acertain percentage out of each commission they make and put it towards the guild. Or they can put a note that all tips or donations will go towards the Hobey Ho! Guild.

Guild. now THAT is a good idea.....if we combine ur idea with GreatBuddha's, we could deffinitely get something going! the only problem i see with this idea is that, a lot of stores (like mine) dont get a lot (well dont get any) customers, and then..yea, so that could be one way, but mayb we should have some other ways as well....

We could give something to the people that donate but Im afraid there might not be alot of stuff to give. Unless the artists were willing to trade avi art for donations. And the type of avi art depends on how much they donate.

I've been dying to test out my blob chibis (that' the only way I can think to describe them) They're quick, cute and easy to make. All donators can get a blob chibi of their avi. I'll make an example or two over the weekend.

I don't think Deus has gotten that far yet. i c....something a bit unexpected turned up in my acc.....all the stuff i was going to donate is gone....
