Linarunia This is the area where social interaction can come between travelers and the ninja in the village.

Kouseki wandered around the village for a while, talking to people and doing different things here and there. That evening, she stood around a nearby pub, waiting for the nidaime. She wondered if he was going to be wearing a disguise or something, since kages didn't customarily just wander through the streets.

Linarunia Tenchi came walking along in a sharp grey suit with his hand in the pockets and his hair free and flowing. "Yo, Kuoseki!" He smiled as he walked up to her. "Well, shall we get going?"

She nodded and walked along beside Tenchi. "My, you look sharp tonight, Tenchi-sama," she said, using his name so as not to attract as much attention as her usual 'nidaime-sama'. "What's the occasion? Did you invent some new breakthrough weaponry or something?"

Linarunia "Actually, yes. I've invented a stone where you can store chakra for later use and it will never fade away. Imagine, you're surrounded and you're out of chakra. This little stone can refill your chakra by over 2/3 of it. Plus, you can use it over and over again, that is if you remember to recharge it before each use."

"Brilliant work as alway, Tenchi-sama," Kouseki said with a smile. "That will be a valuable tool for our village. I must ask though, is there some kind of catch to it? It almost sounds too good to be true," she said.

Linarunia "Like I stated, it's only good when it's charged. If it's not charged, it drains the chakra out of you until it fills up. It's a dangerous item if not used properly."

"Ah, I see. I feel sorry for the careless ninja who goes to use it in battle and accidentally loses their chakra instead of adding to it," she said with a nod. "So, Tenchi-sama, to where are we headed?" By now stars filled the night sky and spanned across the heavens. The moon's light lit their path as they walked.

Linarunia "Well, since it seems that I've made some new allies, I've recieved some rare items that are common in their lands." He walked up to a warehouse and opened the door for her. Inside was a large store of food and cloths and other items uncommon to anyone in the village. "The foods came from the Tsuchikage. Apparently, the soil there is extremely fertile and their food storage almost overflows every year, so we get what food they offer in return for supplies of our own nature."

Kouseki examined the food with much interest. "Wow, you aren't kidding. I don't think I've ever seen food like this before in my life," she replied, setting it back down. She turned back towards Tenchi. "So, is there a particular reason that you brought me here, or did our village's grand Nidaime simply feel the need to boast of his latest accomplishments?" she said with a smile (but not disrespectfully).

Linarunia "There's a reason. And this is it." He picked up a bottle out of a small cask. Inside was a purplish liquid with a grape at the bottom of the bottle. "This is called a wine. They juice grapes by squeezing them and mix the juice with alchohol. I've been told it goes very well with cheeses." He picked up two glasses from another crate and walked over to a table. "The cask was filled with ice so it's already cool. Come, sit down."

(Actually, they let the juice firment and become alchohol. Maybe they mix in a few other things, I can't remember, lol. Minor details, ignore me. I'm just a**l. @_@)
"So, it's like a variation of sake then," Kouseki said, taking a seat. "But instead of firmenting rice, they do it with grapes. Interesting..." She accepted a glass from Tenchi and took a sip. "Definitely has a different taste," she commented. "And not quite a strong as sake is. Nice flavor though."

Linarunia "Indeed." He said as he took a sip as well. "You know......you're my very first jounin. Ever since my mother passed away a couple of years ago, I've been working mostly on my inventions instead of my shinobi." (Well, the important thing is that......I sounded right. lol)

(lol! Not really. XD I'm a butt, ain't I?)
Kouseki nodded. "Yes, the other chuunins that tried unfortunately didn't make it through the exams." She took another sip of the wine. "Our country's military strength may be small, but we will grow larger in time. Meanwhile, we will just have to train our current ninja to be all that much stronger, ne?" she said with a smile. "I'm up for the challenge, Nidaime-sama."

Linarunia "That's good to hear." He gulped down the last of the wine in his glass and re-corked the bottle. "It seems that, out of all of the other villages, we're the most underdeveloped, in terms of culture and historical knowledge. What I want to do is make Tenshigakure one of the most famous villages! I want it to be like a tourists spot, but without all of the tourists. You know, I want us to be popular, like Konoha was in the old days."
