Kouseki strolled at a leisurely pace through the ore mines. She didn't have any assignments at the moment, she she figured that this would be a good opportunity to reload on some metal. She ran her fingers along the walls as she walked, absorbing any traces of metals that were right there at the surface. She would just take from the piles in the cart, but she would feel guilty robbing the workers of what they had worked so hard to get out of the mine. So instead, she did her own mining for metal. Once getting to the main part of the mine, she saw a spot in the wall filled with ruinite. Perfect! she thought to herself as she walked over. Placing both hands on the spot, she began absorbing, soon leaving a hole in the wall where the ruinite had once been. Oh, I feel sorry for my next opponent, she thought to herself as she continued through the mine, absorbing different metals here and there.

Linarunia "Now...why, might I ask, is my precious little jounin absorbing metals from my mines without asking for the Tenshikage's , who is me, permission?" Tenchi appeared behind her with his arms crossed.

Crap, Kouseki thought to herself as she was caught. "I was restocking for my next mission, Nidaime-sama" she replied, taking her hands off of the wall and turning around to face the kage. "But if you want the metal back, I understand." She pulled the ruinite out of her arm in the form of a long sword and handed it over respectfully to Tenchi. "Pure ruinite."

Linarunia "Hmm..." He took the blade and looked it over. "....the handle is to light, plus, we can make hundreds of these in mere minutes, so it's not really unique. Hmmm....." He started warping it around his fingers like a liquid as he thought. "Hmm......let's make this a mission. I want you to create a weapon that......says you." He gave her the sword back and smiled. "And put at least three opals in it." He kept smiling as he walked out of the cave.

Ah, a challenge, Kouseki thought to herself with a smirk as the nidaime walked out of the mine. Very well then. This should be fun. She absorbed the sword back into her and immediately got back to work on collecting various metals.

Linarunia Asuna woke up early and went into the mines to look for a gift for Tenchi. "Oh, Tenchi, I need to find a gem that'll match me and you together. That girl......who does she think she is?!? Tenchi is mine! I've molded and fored him into my will and no one can stop us from being together! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" Her laughter shook the mines throughout its entirity.

Kouseki cleared her throat from behind Asuna to get her attention. "Etou, sorry to interrupt, but Nidaime-sama has summoned you," she said. "And for your information I have no intention of 'stealing' the Nidaime from you. Shall we go?" she said, gesturing towards the exit.

Linarunia "Eh?........uhhh...ok." Asuna started to follow her. Yay! Tenchi has summoned me to his office! Oh, I should start calling him Teshikage, I mean he is a higher official than I am, but he's probably so laid back that he'll let me call him Tenchi, still! Hmm.......he was probably laid back when he let this shinning example of simplicity become a jounin. Hmph, she doesn't even look dangerous! She pulled a small senbon from her belt and held it under her bracer.

Kouseki's eyes glanced back toward Asuna for a second as they walked, but she said nothing and led her out of the mine.
