Once a stunning spectacle, this ruined temple was a monument to the entire pantheon, before it was ransacked by Godhunters. Now, the pristine white marble has been scorched black by flame, the gorgeous windows smashed to pieces, the altar burned and the statues defaced when the raiders found they could not remove them.
After the slaughter had taken place, the people in the nearby towns had come to remove the bodies, only to find that they had risen once again. They promptly sealed the temple against the tormented undead, where they remain to this day, a large number of zombies, animated skeletons and vengeful spirits. Not only that, but the bodies interred in the mausoleum below have arisen at this injustice, making the site of the ruined temple a hotspot of undead activity. Under the original temple, there are miles upon miles of twisting labyrinth and catacombs, swarming with the undead.
