THIS IS MIDDLING.
12:00 PM, Chaos about to start.
*** Writ has gotten only two messages from Persy since this game started, one was a piece of paper, the other one was a spirit. Both of them said to go to Seasons, NOW. Always wanting an excuse to go back into Middling, Writ didn't refuse. He looked up at the looming clouds in the sky. Instinctivly, he sniffed the air. It was about to rain. Gods, this bad omen just keeps following him around, doesn't it? He better make amends with Crow soon, or this would be a regular thing. Little did he know of the real storm that was brewing up above. The storefronts that sprawled the sidewalks began to retreat, outdoor cafes starting noisily dragging their metal tables and chairs as they squealed against cement. It seemed that all of Middling was retreating into their refuges of bricks and glass. The hustle and bustle was not new to Writ, when it looked like it was gonna rain, both customers and shopowners didn't take any chances. Writ ran through the emptying streets, he didn't want anyone that wasn't in the game to know he had grown, and it was likely someone would recgonize him, disguise or not. So that left only one place of solace. Seasons. He had to go anyway, so why not? Persy would be happy to know that Coyote's been quiet lately, who was probably getting busy with his Ex. Now that he thought of it, he had information, and questions to trade for said info. He sprinted down the street where the florist's shop was, the vine-wrapped pillars in sight.

Not far behind, Jubs ran up to seasons, carrying a small clothsack of random items; it looked like rain, and his hiding spot had a tendancy to flood.
Up ahead in the darkness, he could make out the sillouetted form of someone. It was the large ears that gave him away. "Hey Writ! Did you get a ghost too?" He shouted to him. He needn't have done so impatient though, as in no time he had covered the distance bewteen them, skidding to a halt next to Writ.
"Any idea what's going on?"

"Hm?" Writ looked behind him, and then down. There was Jubs, again. Geez, this kid had some sort of ninja god or something on his side, every time he's met him, he always seemed to get behind him. Wierd.
"You did too?" Writ let out a breath of relief, "Phew, then it's not just me."
He opened the door and looked around, there wasn't any sign of the ill-tempered florist. That was strange.
"Helloooo?" Writ called out, "Anyone here?"

“Urrrh” Seth groaned as he was forcibly woken up mid way through the day, and his sleep by some unknown energy.
“Hypnos what is it?” He thought clutching his aching head. ”I need to sleep, cant you just talk to me in dream like that time”
There was silence. Hypnos was away in his own realm as par usual. A dark shadow danced about the sheets from Seth’s usual shadow, gesturing to the way outside, giving Seth some odd reason to leave. He could explain why. But he was being told to leave.
“Hypnos?” …No, it wasn’t his doing.
--------
Seth hurried through the rain, dressed in his usual attire, and draped in a cloak with a hood for the rain that just reached the ground. It was so hard to keep this up, he’d only gotten half of his usual sleep, his eyes drooped constantly, so hard to keep focused.
Hypnos, where the hell are you when I need you?!”
“Hmm? I thought you where sleeping”
“Something what’s me to go to that flower shop”
“Oh…Somebody forgot to give me that memo….”
“Evidently” Seth was clearly not happy with Hypnos attitude, right now, he’d wish he’d be helpful for once. “I need to wake up more” his eyes closed for a moment again, he shook it off.
“I’m a God of sleep, not awakening”
Seth really didn’t need this right now, deprived of sleep, with a annoying voice in his head. What he wouldn't give about now to be back home napping. But it could get worse, and it was about too. He peered round the corner of the street. There was that Writ kid, but more important Jubs. He knew he couldn’t win, but Writ was there, he could help him. For now, he’d watch them and wait.

So he had. Well, at least Jubs wasn't alone. He followed Writ into the store, not noticing Seth in the darkness.
"Hello? Miss Persy?" She was probably ther only person in the world he'd formally address. He hoped she had gotten the bracelet he'd stolen gotten for her.
He looked around the room, careful not to touch any of her plants.

"Curiouser and curiouser..." Writ muttered.
Something wasn't right here. The Green Lady decided to call him and Jubs here and she's not here to see them. Writ sniffed around, but there didn't seem to be anything unusual about the shop, other than the fact that it was empty. He took out his still sheathed axe that was lodged between his waist and his pants, held the way undercover cops had their guns in those old movies. He went over to the flowerpots and stroked one of the plant's leaves with his free hand, something he was sure he wouldn't be able to do if the florist was here. But hey, like they say, "When in Rome."
"Hey Jubs" Writ looked back to the kid, "I got a bad feeling about this, I've never seen her leave the shop before." He held up his Tomahawk and nodded to him.

Seth nearly nodded off as he stood at the corner in the rain. In his partly dazed and sleep deprived state he ran through his options. Most of which involved leaving this very instant, and only a few of which involved going inside the flower shop. Argh, he was to tired, he’d have to go in, it was only slightly better than passing out on the street.
He walked up to the door, to peer into the dark entrance, he could only just make out the figures of Jubs and Writ as they had just entered. He pulled his hood up over his head before stepping to the entrance and leaning against the door frame.
“I…can’t keep this up”

When Writ touched a plant, he knew she wasn't there, and that wasn't good. she was the one who called them here, why would she be gone?
Jubs put down his stuff and gripped his pipe with both hands, since Writ took out his hatchet. He looked around warily, and spun around when he heard a noise by the door. It was that Uppers kid again! And this time he looked even more out of it. "I told you not to come back to Middling you stupid Rich." His voice dripped with scorn.
Hefting the pipe, he ran forward towards Seth.

The door squeaked open, and Writ turned around to see Seth's familiar face. It wasn't even a second until Jubs was on him.
"HEY!"
Writ nearly jumped to reach the attacking kid, and even with that effort, the tall one barely got a firm grip of Jubs' shirt collar before hurling him back into his arms.
"Things are a little weird." Writ grunted and turned away from Seth, holding Jubs with both arms around him in an unbreakable hug of restraint, "But that doesn't mean that we can beat up one another in neutral territory!"
He turned around, looking a little strained as he tried to keep Jubs from beating the crap out of Seth.
"Hey Seth."
Writ tried waving to the newcomer with his hands full, but only succeeded in giving him a proper finger waggle. Not bad considering he had a hellbent godling around his arms.

Seth didn’t move when Jubs tried to attack him, he didn’t have the energy to try and fight back. Right now every other muscle in his body screamed for rest. He couldn’t now, Jubs was here, even though Writ was here, he couldn’t entirely be sure what would happen for the next 12 hours that he could spent asleep. And being nigh unwake-able had its disadvantages in this case.
“Thanks” he replied to Writ wearily as he have stumbled in and propped himself again the counter. He let out a moan, where was the flower girl, he thought she wanted something.
“Where’s…that flower girl…” He muttered, his bare whispers just managing to sound displeased. He’d come all this way like this for nothing.

With a strangled "Huurk", Jubs was pulled off his feet, his pipe clattering on the floor. Caught in a strong bearhug by someone nearly twice his height, he could only struggle vainly. "Lemme go!"
At the mention of neutral ground, he slowly stopped struggling. He forgotten that part about Seasons as soon as he saw Seth. "Fine, I won't attack him. Now lemme go." Once let go, he studiously ignored Seth and retrieved his bag of items. "So what are we suppos..." He was cut off by a huge clash of thunder, followed by another, even louder. It looked like the storm was beginning in ernest.

"No problem."
Writ slowly placed Jubs on the ground and let go. He let out a sigh. So the Green Lady's left him with two kids to babysit. Not that this was a bad thing or anything, he was great with kids, just not kids with superpowers and the motivation to kill one another.
"She sent you-?" Writ began to ask, but he saw Seth collapsed on the counter, apparently he didn't get too much sleep before he was sent over here.
He walked over to him and poked him a few times. "Uh, you alright? You look like you could use an espresso right now."

At least Seth to rest a little easier now that Jubs had agreed to not attack him, nut it really didn’t trust his word anyway. Writ could take care if anything happened, at least he hoped he would.
“Something wanted me to come here…who would it be?” he replied in his muttered tone again, still stumped over the counter, which for now was the only thing between him and collapsing on the floor.
He groaned again as Writ poked him and he smooched over a little, just to get out of his immediate reach. “I could use rest right now…but if no ones here I guess it won’t matter” He eyes started to close again, if there was no reason to stay awake, then he could sleep….right?

Still ignoring Seth, Jubs sat down, leaning against a wall. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out some salted meat he had stolen, and started to eat.
"I guess we just wait here until we hear from her them." He said in between bites. It wasn't like he had anywhere else to go.
Outside, the storm picked up in intensity, if that was possible.

Writ watched lightning crackle in the distance. He counted only one second before the thunder came after. Looks like they were going to get the worse of the storm.
So he was in the Green lady's flowershop without said Green lady, stuck inside by a huge storm about to erupt with two kids who would beat one another if it weren't for the fact that they were in here.
This was going to be a bad day, wasn't it?
"I wonder who else she called..."
Writ leaned on the counter next to Seth, looking out the window for more lightning.
