Upon entering through the Portrait Hole hidden behind the Fat Lady, the Gryffindors walk into a round room clad in gold and scarlet. The main focus of the room is a fireplace that all the furniture, plush armchairs, rug and coffee table stands at attention. Staircases along the back wall lead up to the Girls and Boys dorms, which are divided by years with five four poster beds in each room.
