Welcome to In Ring Control, with me. 2.0. This one is obviously about The Night of Champions. It might be worth noting that NoDQ.com said that this PPV is not really worth the buy, but I have to disagree. Lets run down the Card. As usual:

Womens Championship
Candice Michelle vs Melina

This match can go either way. They have pushed Candice hard as a credible women's wrestler, and now that she actually has the ability to back it up, I don't care who wins. They can both wrestle, thats what matters to me.

Cruiserweight Championship
Akio Wang Yang vs Chavo Guerrero

This match can ALSO go either way, due to th Cruiserweight title's nature of not getting enough TV time or storylines for people to care too much about it. If this were WCW or TNA, this match might interest a lot more people, due to the fact that WWE's Cruisers are so incredibly watered down, Londrick were lucky to make it as Tag Champs. Akio has been on the war path since January, and without Helms around, I really want him to pull it out. AKIO TIME!

Deuce and Domino Open Challenge

Well, no matter who wins, WWE doesnt give a rats a** about Tag belts. They'll do anything to them.

World Tag Team Championship
The Red Neck Wrecking Crew vs The Hardy Boyz

This match could easily be a show stealer, because Cade and Murdoch are not horrible in the ring. At least they arnt predictable like The Hardys, who are still entertaining enough to keep everyones eyes on them. This, IMO, is the final time we will see The Hardys as a team, at least as a serious full time team, for a long time.

United States Championship
MVP vs Ric Flair

This match was just rushed together, but because of it, Cole made the quote of the month:

"MVP was just running his mouth, talking about how he is the greatest US Champion of all time.

He hasn't even defended the title yet!"

So true. MVP is impressive. Ric Flair shouldn't wrestle anymore. Ric will probably bring this match down from what it coulda been between MVP and Masters or some other good midcard talent on Sma- . . . Thats it? Really? MVP and Masters? Man that sucks.

Expect anything and everything. Anyone can walk away with the title on tihs one. Lets just hope its not Flair.

Intercontinental Championship
Santino Marella vs UuuuuuuuuuMAGA

This match is another throwaway. Santino could be actually proving himself, rather then going over on last years model of Unstoppable. Honestly, I don't want Santino to win this match unless he uses a finisher. A legit, stick with it finisher, that is not a roll up. I am sick of seeing this guy who is obviously VERY talented not beign able to show it in the least. Santino can win if he uses his latent talent. Otherwise his music is crap, and so is he.

ECW World Championship
Chris Benoit vs CxMx Punk

This match, to me at least, is important to telling how the fate of ECW will play out. If Chris wins, we get to see a man who deserves to be World Champion everywhere he goes, in the top spot on the C show where all the main eventers have not been in the company long enough to deserve a main title. If CM Punk wins we see a guy with all the talent of a world champion on top of the C Show where he does not yet deserve to be. My pick is obvious, isnt it? Hopefully the winner is just as obvious.

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs Bautista

Oh we've seen this match before. Judgement Day. And it was horrible. Even Edge could not take that crap and turn it to gold. When people face off against David "Made My Moveset From Everyone Elses Finishers" Batista, they face a man who has used their finisher at least once, unless you're Triple H. If Batista hits the Running Hug on Edge, I'm goign to puke.
