The Veritan Academy is a place of learning for children of nobility. Often, children are sent off to Veritan to learn politics, language, mathematics, diplomacy and other useful skills. It is a requirement to attend Veritan to become a count, diplomat or ambassador. The Veritan Academy is a large estate outside of Geivan, with about twenty students at a time, though it can hold many more. However, most noble families opt to have their children tutored within their private estates, so Veritan does not usually have a great amount of attendees.

The Academy tutors to children from eight to sixteen years of age, and is run by five teachers and a headmistress.

It is three stories tall and rather large, made of grey stone and covered with decorations; stone gargoyles and the like. On the bottom floor are all the classrooms, kitchens and dining halls, on the second floor are the rooms for the students, and the third is for the teachers and headmistress. The grounds it stands on are about six acres of beautiful gardens and pastures for riding, and it is about half a kilometre away from Geivan.
