Set in the centre of the city of Turagand, the Academy of Sorcery is a large tower of marble, erected through magical means almost one hundred years ago. It was founded as the population of Vorisseine began to grow larger, thus the amount of people capable of magic increased. Due to this, the resident mages of the different counties found they could not tutor all the students they were receiving, and thus the academy was a means to instruct young magi.

The tower has about ten stories to it, each for classrooms, laboratories, rooms, libraries and many other various rooms. At any given time, there can be from ten to one hundred mages in training at the tower, ranging from ages seven to eighteen. The Academy can also act as a haven for magi in times of distress.
