Immediate things to do:
1. Read the this page and follow them it all times.
2. First you mail silmaronyo or myself for your own journal to roleplay your character's point of view in the current events.
3. Chat with others in the forum of your character's race.
4. Stay active and when you become of schooling age, enroll at the school.
5. No posting in the journals of others.
6. Stay in your races forums or the general forum. Eventually we will also have a war forum.
7. Please do not post any threads without authorization, we try to make sure there already are an adequate number.
8. Be sure to have fun ^^

Elven:
Heir Apparent- In elven society, the royal gene pool isn't very large. In an effort to bring in new blood the guidelines for finding a suitable husband are strict. The Queen's youngest sister's children are determined the future royal line. The eldest daughter shall become the next Queen and thereby must marry a Prince, however, the youngest daughter is free to marry any commoner, bringing in new blood. Her children will become the next princess's and princes, giving her a slight status, but mainly working towards renewing the gene pool. Only women rule, elves live for 500 years, and while it takes 80 years to raise a child to schooling age, they often have at least one daughter. If not, their next sister or closest female relative is given the honor.
Melethril- simply put- lover. More complex? It's a very intricate courting cycle, with complex emotions. Much stronger than the human word boyfriend/girlfriend. It could be anything from a crush to pre-marriage. It is never attempted with more than one elf, they are extremely monogamous in courtship.
Handfasting- A version of marriage that involves a bond that does not allow them to do well without each other (not physically, but emotionally). It was created to sustain arranged marriages, but is now the only accepted form.
Vampire
Royal Advisor- A close friend of the King whom runs all the behind the scenes work and assigns rank and future employment to children on their 1st birthday. If your father was calvary, you may be put into peasantry, or even elevated to the court depending on how he is feeling at the time. Easily the most feared man in the kingdom.
Airborne Militia- The Khor unit rides great winged beasts that appear to be a mixture between a dragon, a horse and a rhinocerus. They are vicious and are only tame to the vampire bonded to them at their birth. Not even the lover of the vampire can safely draw near. donated by Kelbora
Calvary- The Skidh unit rides beasts that appear to be great lumps with heads, yet they are faster than horses and have spined tails that whip out at unsuspecting soldiers.
