[ALL CREW MEMBERS ARE OBLIGATED TO STATE THEIR OPINNION]
Ok everyone... We don't have a recruiting director, but I guess it'd be better to ask everyone's opinion instead of just one person making the decisions that could effect the guild greatly. As you know, it's the crew as well as the members that make a guild. So WE need to make a decision...
Questions: Should we go hidden? If yes, how many members should we allow until we go hidden? Is the entry fee too high a price to pay right now?
Options: 1. We don't go hidden, but keep the entry fee at 500 gold.
2. We have the 500 gold entry fee now, then go hidden after a certain number of members and change the entry fee to 100 gold.
3. We drop the entry fee to 100 gold and invite as many suitable people in the official FF forum that seem nice(or even random people) that we can. We can also advertise like crazy with graphic art and banners that's sure to catch people's eyes. Then, we raise to 500 gold.
4. We aim for a certain number of members (say 250) have a referal contest(people who are refered will get in free), and then after the contest we raise entry fee to 300 gold, wait until we recieve 250 members, then go hidden and lower entry fee to 100 gold.
(If you think other options should be added, do suggest.)
Reasons as to why we should switch to hidden: - Other guilds don't steal ideas, take FF topic knowledge from threads etc. etc. - It provides more of a 'mysterious aura' around the guild - We keep the "community" and the "at home" feeling in tact(because when there are too many members, threads & RPs become confusing and hard to keep up with) - More of a chance for you to win in contests/competitions - Better chance of keeping "n00bs" out, since people can only join on invite - Crew members take less time having to conduct thread cleanups and member cleanups, which means more time improving the guild and making gold for it
Reasons as to why we shouldn't go hidden: - The members we currently have(or are bound to get) may not be as active after some time, so there may be a chance that this guild could wither out and die due to the unactiveness - More members = More challenges in contests/competitions/debates - More members = More discussions, threads & RPs - More members = More activity in events - More members = More friends to make - More members = Better chance of having someone online(to talk to in the guild) from your timezone
So please do post your opinnion! Because this guild is yours too!

I Think Number 2 Sounds The Best.

Yeah number two sounds like a good idea to me. I can make some banners of my own...so that shouldn't be a problem. Unless you want me to make a thread somewhere and post the ones we already have.

I also would have to vote for the second option. It sounds best. Whatever gets chosen, I do think we should still go hidden.

Alright everyone... seems like everyone's voting for option number 2... but we still need a number estimate about how many members we should have before going hidden. Plz vote or/and suggest a number.

Personal Opinion: Less, more active members is better! In order for those to join the guild, let's have them give us a roleplay sample, and a few different questions, with the answers we scatter in the home page, so we know they've read it!

I say #2, too...having way too many members who don't really participate will be a problem of weeding out. I learned that the hard way when the FF Freaks used to be in the regular guild threads...

To be honest, a tough decision. Keep things the way they are, but discard inactive members. Or go with no.2. Good luck deciding. P.S. Is there a new FF game being released? Just checking...
