A Spell of Cobalt Captain

It's a beautiful lake - glimmering clean waters, surrounded by a perfect line of lush trees. The depths reach on for miles. Coral lines the water hole's sides, and sea weed's tips can be spotted trailing form the bottom. A picture of nature's perfection.
Naturally, water nymphs are water nymphs. This spot is like a heaven for them. A perfect, natural sight to swim at.
So what are we standin' around talking for?! Let's go swim and be free!

Beneath the waters of the lake a dark shadow moves. The water's surface is flat, calm, and only the black tank top and feather headband lying at the side of the shore indicates that someone might be nearby.
The what was obvious: this lake was home to many water nymphs. The who, however was questionable.
In this case, it was an adult named Kalam, and he was enjoying a peaceful evening swim.

Raspberry was walking along the shore of the lake when she suddenly noticed someone swimming in the serene lake.
She instantly pulled her skirt halves together and walked forward slowly, trying to get a better look at the swimming person.

There was a splash of water on the surface of the lake, and a head of burgundy hair popped up and a dark-skinned boy gasped for breath and grinned. He wiped the water out of his blue eyes and shook it out of his curly ears, then looked around and grinned.
"Hiya!" he called out brightly to the girl who was on the shore. He waved and started swimming over towards her.

"H-hi." Raspberry replied and stopped. She blushed lightly, she thought that introducing oneself first was polite, so she added, "I'm Raspberry, i hope I didn't disturb you."

"Kalam," the nymph introduced himself with a cheeky grin, reaching the shore and pulling himself out onto dry land. He shook his pants a bit to get rid of some of the water, then reached down and grabbed his shirt.
"Don't worry about disturbing me," he grinned as he pulled his shirt over his head and over his wet body. "I think it's great to finally meet someone else. You have any idea how lonely it can get here? Love the water, love to swim, but heck what I wouldn't give for a bit of companionship!"

"Nice to meet you Kalam," Raspberry said more cheerfully, since she now was reassured, that she wasn't gonna be chased away. She sat down on a medium sized rock and said, "I met some other nymphs a few months ago. There were two nymph girls and a male guardian. I somehow lost sight of them and now I came here." She smiled sweetly and added, "I was kinda hoping to meet someone too."

Winnie, who was picking flowers, looked up from his work at the sound of the two other nymphs. Being playful and curious, he fearlessly walked over to the two, sat down, and watched them both intently. The flowers in his paw quivered slightly.

Kalam's eyes grew bright. "Really? Three more? Wow ... then there are more of us! I sure wish I could meet them all!" He picked up his headband and pulled it on, finally finished dressing again. Then he stuck his hand out to Raspberry for a handshake.
"What say we do something?" he asked her brightly. "Play a game? Go swimming?"
His eyes flashed mischievously. "Play a swimming game?"

Raspberry giggled lightly at Kalams excitement and said, "Yes, there are more of us, Tea, my guardian said that there are at least 10 more of our kind." She then noticed the third nymph, who had just come to them and he eyes also went bigger, but not from excitement, but from being surprised. "Hello..." Raspberry said and looked at the third nymph. "Would you want to join us in a swimming game?" she asked more confidently now.

Winnie tilted his head to the right, then to the left. "Hi! I'm Winnie," Winnie said at last. The small nymph had been born that very day, so not much was to be expected of him. "I like to swim... And I like games." The flowers, forgotten, dropped out of Winnie's hand as he stood up.

Kalam looked over his shoulder, surprised yet pleased that there was yet another nymph there with them.
"Hi!" he grinned, and introduced himself again. "I'm Kalam!"
He cast a triumphant look at Raspberry. At least nine more to meet, if they were lucky!
"What game do you guys want to play?" he asked the others, flipping off his headband once again, then shrugging out of his tank top and throwing it on the ground once more. He untied the rope he used as a belt and tossed it on top of the pile, but kept his pants on - they didn't bother him while he was swimming.

Raspberry stroked the little nymphs head and said "It's decided then, We'll play together." She then looked up to her other companion and asked, "It's alright with you, isn't it? Let's play that swimming game." She then stood up and carefully untied the bow on her back. As the result of this action, her outfits upper layer came off, leaving her in what seemed to be a swimsuit. Raspberry blushed and explained, "A quite practical costume, isnt it? At least then, when I want to have little clothing on me."

Winnie smiled at the pets. He gave a little hop of excitement at the idea of the game. "Swim and game! Swim and game!" he squeaked. The Pooh Bear costume did not come off, however.

Kalam grinned at Tea Raspberry and nodded appreciatively. "I think it's wonderful," he told her. "Quick and easy and looks absolutely wonderful." He chuckled down at their third companion. "You seem excited about this. I hope it's as fun as you want it to be!" He reached down and patted Winnie on the head. "Don't you think it would be easier for you to swim without your clothes, though? They get pretty heavy when they get wet ..."
