Ok I'm stealing from my friends in the Aged Gaians Guild, but I like the way they word the rules.
[RPG]- will be placed in front of the actual RP thread

[OOC]- will be placed infront of the Title of the RP to designate that it's an ooc for that rp.

[MISC]- will be placed in front of any non-RP related topics

Any threads that are created that do not follow this format, will be corrected, moved or deleted as we see fit.

Please do not post topics randomly. If it is an RP thread we will not stop you but please let us know about it first.
If non-rp threads become rampant then we will delete or move them as we see fit.

Please adhere to the Gaia TOS. We are all adults here so keeping it slightly above PG-13 will be acceptable. If any cybering occurs those posts will be deleted and those guild members will be warned. If it persists threads may be deleted and members banned. We all know what happens between the sheets no need to describe it. If you insist on doing so please feel free to do so in PMs.

General Rules:

1. Correct spelling and grammar:
Please Do your best to speak like a human being and not in 733t speak. It's not fun trying to figure out what the hell letter some number stands for.. Numbers are numbers and letters are letters they are not interchangeable.

2. No MODing:
Please do not insist your character is infinately stronger or can get out of any situation simply because you say so. That's GOD modding and it is unacceptable. Do not control another character in a thread that is not your own unless you've gotten permission from the owner of the character.

3. Individual Thread Rules:
The owner of the thread will make up any rules that must be followed for their specific RP. Please see their rules and instructions in their RP thread and follow them!

4. Setting up RPs:
Every RP thread must have at the very least a brief Introduction post stating what the RP is about. It's not fun trying to figure out a thread based on simply a few posts. If there is not a brief introduction post then you, as the thread owner, will be told to place one. This post can be as brief as one paragraph, a.k.a. Four sentences. "It's a Mideval Bar" is not acceptable. If one is not added then the thread will either be deleted or one will be put up for you.

5. Thread owners:
If there is a situation with a thread or if a member is being rude or disruptive please speak to a crew member. Explain the situation and the members involved in it and we will do our best to solve the issue quickly.


Remember Thread owners. These are your RPs. You have a say as to your own rules (with exception of those stated above) and who and what occurs. If there is a RP issue, feel free to solve it yourself, if it is an issue violating Gaia TOS or the guild rules please contact a crew member.
