Ok, I'd like another fair debate on this topic. Which is better Subtitles, or english dubs? I'll let someone else start this one off.

i usually prefer to watch shows dubbed but like naruto the jap versions are on like episode 220 or something and the american versions arent even at 100

I prefer most shows dubbed so I can understand it... but then move to the sub... except Bleach, I only saw and apreciate the dub

A personal example? I prefer watching .hack//SIGN dubbed, though I've seen it both.
But one of the best Subs I've seen, which really isn't an anime, but FF: Advent Children.
Dubbed, Sephiroth sounded bad a**. Subbed, Sephiroth sounded badder assed, AND arrogant. The way he should be. All of the characters sounded better Subbed besides that. razz P

Anime sounds better subbed because their voice sound they way they were intended to be. In the American version of Naruto he says "believe it" so much. But in The original Japanese version he doesn't say it at all
