Hey! I need to devise a playlist for The Alloy. What songs would you like to be played? Please, this station is meant to be about you, the potential listeners, and so... I need your help. So! What are your favorite songs?
NOTE: Please include an artist, if at all possible, with the song title(s).
Also, I won't play much rap, or, well, any screamo metal. I just can't stand it. I know that I want this radio station to be about the listeners, but I just can't bring myself to play really screamo stuff. But you know that really pop-influenced country? Like Carrie Underwood's song "Before He Cheats"? I'll play pretty much anything you want as long as it kind of fits with the rest of the songs. Like, an amazing Mozart piece just wouldn't make sense. But some country would be fine.

I like your idea of creating a playlist! I guess you could add some songs from Linkin Park, such as Breaking the Habit, and Faint.

Thanks, guys!
I'll try and get around to posting the playlist I kind of have, just from talking to some people on Gaia, and some of my friends, along with my favorites, which you guys can then critique. Feel free to yell at me to take lists off the list, or warn me against songs that are getting overplayed, and... yeah.

This is kind of off topic, but I scanned the "What's your favorite band/song/artist/genre" sticky in the main music forum. I saw your name and that you posted at least a band or two that fell into the pop or rock or alternative genres.

Hearing some old school real emo music would be awesome.
Songs such as: Back and To the Left - Texas Is The Reason.
Remainder - Rites of Spring
Also, try for bands no one has heard of.
Like I Would Set Myself On Fire For You. Shitty name for a good band.
Husker Du.
At The Drive-In.
The Soviettes.
Try for some NoFX too, they're pretty awesome.
Less than Jake is awesome as well.
Say Anything's songs make me laugh sometimes.
Also, Weird Al parodies would be nice to add some comedy.
EDIT: Something Corporate. If nothing else, their song Globes and Maps.
