Ben sat in a chair, observing the catch with his usually empty smile, as he played with a few locks of his blonde hair. He noticed one of the people they would be selling stirring and his eyes narrowed. "Welcome to the brig!" His cold English tone let out to the young man with obsidian hair. "You people were far too easy to catch... Do you all know that?" He asked with a smile as he stood up, wiping the area of his red coat that he had sat on lightly before pacing around the cell with the same, mocking, empty smile. "Ye lot could have made things more fun!" He exclaimed, annoyance showing in his voice. "Ah well... What's it matter... Money is money anyway." He mumbled lightly.

Rush came to, feeling a slight bit of nausea and wooziness, his mind fuzzy and unclear. "Just... What.. Is a kid... Doing here...? Where are we..." The apathetic voice murmured slowly, the words slightly slurring as he spoke. Apparently, they must have known what he was capable of. He then noticed his little bird had been perched in the cell as well, near a window where it occasionally flew from. It seemed to be fretting over his condition. With a groan, Rush tried to take hold of the young boy's body and puppeteer it, but failed.

"That won't be working now... Sorry to wreck your ship afore it's even sailed..." Ben said with a laugh. He often drugged anyone he captured for the fact that it left them unable to focus their powers.

A thought suddenly donned on Rush as he felt the front pocket at his breast for the puppet yoak that he could be controlled from. With a relieved sigh, he found it was still there. "Who are you? And where are you taking us?" He demanded.

"Why... I'm just completing your cruise for you... You've just got a different destination on the island..." Ben said lightly, appointing a guard for duty before he wandered up to the deck, apparently satisfied with what he would soon be selling off on the island.

Rush groaned as he felt the drug's affects hit him full force once more. He managed to remember a bit and suddenly noticed it wasn't the drug hitting him. It was another headache. That's right, he had tried to fight off the pirates before he was taken and wound up knocked out, hit by something in the back of his head. As he remembered this, he suddenly realized the strange, wet warmth on the left side of his face. He brought his hand up to feel and saw it come away with the scarlet horror known as blood. "I'm... Not really feeling all too good right now..." He muttered quietly, his eyes starting to dim as his conscious started to flicker like one of the lamps in the below-decks. He could hear something being spoken by Amoria, but he couldn't make sense of any of it. Within a few seconds, he had collapsed and was laying on his back, still as if he were dead. He wondered why the other girl was tied up, but had no clue. Maybe they detained her and tied her up instead of being so rough. Before he had lost consciousness, he heard the girl making a request. He had wanted to laugh at her idiocy. A good criminal wouldn't allow for any communication.

Mizuki groaned from a pounding pain in her head, and tried to clutch at it with her hand. But that only made her realize that she couldn't move her hands. Her eyes instantly opened wide, then shut tightly again at another searing pain from her head. Slowly, her senses began to come back. Her face was pressed against something resembling damp wood, and she smelled something horrible close by. After a few seconds, she blinked her eyes open and looked around. Immediately, a loud scream echoed from her mouth, high and shrill. Right in front of her sat a skeleton, slumped against the farthest back wall and still wearing remaining rags of clothing.

Mizuki scrambled away from it, which was hard considering she was bound at her wrists and ankles. She ended up rolling over until she bumped into something else. But that something was warm, not a dead skeleton. She lifted a panic-stricken face and saw a girl sitting there. The girl spoke, and to Mizuki her voice sounded far off. After a moment she realized the girl had asked where they were. Mizuki didn't reply. Instead she clenched her teeth, trying to ignore the splitting headache, and struggled onto her knees. She finally managed, but had her shoulder leaning against the bars to keep herself from toppling over again. Her eyes darted around quickly, until she felt another wave of dizziness and her gaze started blurring. So she shut her eyes again, head slumping forward. She was breathing kind of heavily too. Am I injured? What's happening!? she thought frantically.

Rush's conscious flickered just like the lamp lighting their cell. He could see little snatches of people, hear little snips of conversation, but all he had was the bits and pieces. Mere fragmentary truths. He tried to lift himself, but his clobbered head and drugged state made it completely impossible for him to move his body. Just what he wanted. To have to depend on others. "Nngh... Amor... Water..." He murmured, barely even able to say the words. He felt terrible, his stomach lurching constantly and his cheeks now flushed, apparently the drug was reacting with something in his system and was just now deciding to give him a fever. He could feel her hand gently pressing where he had been bludgeoned and was grateful. He felt like any second he might lose control of his stomach and wind up vomitting, but he tried to hold it back as well as he could. Hopefully by the end of the ship ride, he'd feel better.

Rush guzzled the water down slowly, spluttering and coughing occasionally, the water washing over his chin and streaking down the sides of his face. But, he managed to drink the whole bottle. Unfortunately, his body found sudden energy as he shot out of Amoria's lap and vomitted in a corner. He wiped his lips, seeing a clear fluid on his hands. The water he had just drank, then he vomitted again, spitting up his stomach acid. The drug was flushing his stomach clean of any contents. Thank god he hadn't eaten recently, otherwise there would be massive trouble since his body was convulsing and spasming lightly. Just what had they drugged him with? Was he allergic? How much did they give him? The way his head felt and from the numbness of his body, he could guess it was some kind of narcotic they must have forced him to swallow while he was conked out. He managed to crawl away from the puddle he had lurched and collapsed near Amoria, holding his stomach. He couldn't drink or eat anything until the drug had worn off, which meant he would be weak throughout his entire captivity.

Mizuki took several deep breaths, partly as an attempt to keep calm, and partly because she felt sick. Every time she opened her eyes, she found the room spinning, and when she shut them, she pictured that damn skeleton again, sitting there and giving her that lifeless grin. She shuddered violently and suddenly started coughing. But her hands were tied behind her back, so she just slumped her head forward and began choking almost, until it finally passed and she began gasping for air. She felt dizzy again and started to sway. She just leaned against the bars until it passed. However, tears were streaming silently down her face. Again, they were partially due to her fear, but also because she'd just been choking.

She looked up sharply when she heard someone gagging, obviously throwing up. The smell hit her and she turned away, trying to ignore it, and finding that impossible. So she squirmed her way with bound wrists and ankles, towards the back of the brig and got on her knees, then leaned forward as her stomach heaved. She threw up until there was nothing left to throw up, and then ended up doing a few dry heaves before she slowly inched backwards and collapsed onto her side, eyes closed. If someone threw up around her, it made her sick to her stomach as well. And since she felt so dizzy and sick and her head was searing with pain, she certainly couldn't help herself now.

And now she was just laying on her side and stomach, legs partially bent and tied together, and her hands bound behind her back. Her cheek pressed against the ground and she kept her eyes squeezed shut, not wanting to see any more of this place, as she panted heavily for breath with tears still streaming down. But she was crying in absolute silence, her only sound being that of her harsh breathing.

Rush could feel bile rising in his throat, tasting the disgusting substance as he tried to force it back down. He couldn't move at all anymore. "Amo... Amori..." He started weakly, his voice barely carrying the words. "Thank you..." He murmured quietly. What he wanted most was for her to see to the others, untie them and such, make sure they were alright. His eyes closed as he tried to stay calm and keep his mind right, but he was slipping into a delirium, unable to sleep now, but his fatigued mind thinking of many many wierd things. He was thankful for the cold cloth over his forehead, hopefully it would serve to lower his fever at least. He needed to be strong on the island. He couldn't be stuck as a weak, unmovable person. He needed to get better. If only they hadn't used so much of whatever drug on him. Or if only they hadn't used a drug. He could've puppeteered the whole crew and the captain into taking them to the island and letting them free.
