The Mansion.

Stumbling through the jungle, you might eventually find yourself in front of a large, forboding mansion. It looks old and run down, like it's about to fall to pieces. Most of the windows are shattered and it just looks like a big ruin. But out front stands a sign stuck in the dying grass. Large red letters across it read "TOP SECRET—NO TRESPASSING". However, say your curiousity got the better of you. You approach the front door, but it's locked. So you circle around and for some reason decide to climb in through one of the broken windows. Beware the remnants of jagged glass.

Once inside, you find yourself in a dust covered place full of spider webs. It's dark and dank and it's very possible those large bulky shadows you saw out of the corner of your eye weren't just shadows. There's an old staircase leading to the upper floors. Halfway up is one huge hole, as if something very large fell through because the rotting wood couldn't support its weight. The interior of the mansion is like a maze so take care! We don't want you getting lost...

Inside are monsters, lurking, just waiting to snag a meal who ventured a little too close or got a little too careless. There are also several remaining servants, each armed with guns, who tend to linger around a room on the upper floor. This room is sealed shut with a large metal door that's bolted from the outside. I wonder what's in there...?

It's rumored that this mansion is owned by a six year old boy named Lloyd. He inheirited everything after his parents were met with an untimely end in this very house.

Two members of the crew entered the mansion and made their way swiftly to the upper floors. One had a sword in one hand and a pistol in the other, watching the other's back. And the second was holding a girl in her arms. She was thin and thus easily carried, her dark brown hair headtossed and her face extremely pale. The duo headed up quickly, nearly at a run, until they stumbled upon a large metal door that was bolted shut from the outside.

Standing outside were several men, each armed. They looked over the pirates and the girl, and then two stepped forward to meet them. One took the girl and the other handed over a bag of what was probably money. The pirate looked in, appeared satisfied, and turned to go. The man who'd taken the girl checked her pulse and then nodded, and the pirates were allowed to leave. They did so quickly, once more sprinting down levels of stairs and now both with weapons drawn, racing to safety. Neither withed to linger for long in this cursed house.

The man holding Mizuki stared down at her for a moment, then smirked lightly. "Let's see how long she lasts," he chuckled, then stepped towards the doors. There were several loud clicks as the bolts unlocked and the door slid open enough for the man and her to slip through. He smiled gently as a young boy turned his head and looked towards him. "Master Lloyd, we've brought you another friend. Please play nicely." And with that, he set Mizuki down, leaving her a crumpled heap on the floor, and retreated from the room, the heavy doors closing and locking behind him.

Mizuki began stirring due to a persistant annoyance. It felt like something was poking her arm repeatedly, a never ceasing robotic movement. She let out a low hiss of pain and irritation and blinked her eyes open. Like last time, everything was blurry. She could just make out the outline of a figure leaning over her. "Ah-!" she began, scrambling backwards. Almost immediately, her back bumped against something cold and metal. She peered over her shoulder, then lifted a hand sluggishly and touched the thing, figuring it was either a wall or a door. She couldn't tell which at the moment. She groaned and closed her eyes tightly, clutching at her head. She'd had a headache before this whole mess, and now it felt a million times worse.

"Play with me."

"Eh?" She looked up again, squinting a she tried to make her vision clearer. Finally, she realized the one who had spoken and the one who'd been poking her were the same person. Actually, he appeared to be a little kid. She stared blankly at him, then slowly pushed herself up so she was sitting, back propped against the door. She'd been drugged, then shot with a tranquilizer or something, and she really wasn't doing too well. Her face felt hot and she knew it was flushed. But a moment later, she suddenly shivered. Damn, am I sick now too? She hadn't been that well off before this trip either. Lack of sleep, refusing to eat, only drinking when she felt ready to pass out... This was supposed to be a trip for recovery, not death!

She clenched her teeth as she stood, back sliding upwards against the metal wall, or door, for support. She still felt extremely dizzy and nearly toppled over, but managed to keep her footing. She reached out and gently grabbed the boy's hand. "Were you taken too? Don't worry. I'm going to get us out and-" But she suddenly fell forward, hitting the ground rather hard. She winced, then curled up in a defensive ball, arms over her head again. "Wh-why did you do that?!" The kid had jerked her forward and she'd fallen due to her weak state.

"Play with me," the kid repeated. "You're here so you can play with me. If you don't, they'll feed you to the monsters too."

Mizuki froze, then painfully lifted her head and stared at him, grey eyes wide. Was he serious? That's really why she'd been brought here? Did that mean the others were...? Why is this happening?! With another soft groan, she pushed herself to her knees, her hands curled into fists on the ground in front of her to keep her from falling forward again.

"Play with me."

"....alright."

Mizuki was starting to feel better, but just a little. She still kept shifting between feeling really hot and freezing cold, her cheeks were flushed, and she was sweating lightly. But her vision had cleared for the most part and her headache was receeding just the slightest bit. She could also sit up without it taking a huge amount of effort. And she was, in fact, playing with the kid. By now, she'd also figured out his name was Lloyd, and he actually was pretty normal, despite his odd surroundings.

"The blocks!" he cried, and Mizuki smiled lightly as she crawled towards him and settled on her knees once more.

"Alright," she agreed quietly, watching him dump out the box. This room was large, with thick walls and that huge metal door that seemed to be the only way out. There were no windows so she had no idea what time it was. "Hey, Lloyd..." she began gently. "Why are you still here when it's so dangerous...?" He'd told her of the monsters and the various people still in the large building, and of what was probably happening to the others. She didn't want to think about that now.. Since they were from Ria, hopefully they had powers that would help to get them out alright. She, on the other hand, could do nothing to get herself out.

The boy didn't look up from the small tower he was building. "...'cuz, they think they can take it back from the monsters and I'll be in charge again. Now, help me build!"

Mizuki obediently moved closer and began adding more blocks, trying to keep it balanced so it wouldn't fall. As far as she could tell, in here she'd be safe as long as she kept this boy happy. She knew he must be extremely lonely locked up with only toys. But that's why she didn't understand why they were keeping him here. Why couldn't they get him off the island while they handled everything? Were they afraid to try transporting him?

She sighed quietly to herself, but jolted in alarm at a sudden voice in her head. A familiar one, belonging to... Rammy?! she replied, again stating the nickname without thinking. She was too surprised to notice she'd said it. Yes, I can hear you! I-

But she cut off suddenly, her eyes finding Lloyd's. The kid had reached out and grabbed her hand, having seen her jump. He was staring at her curiously. But Mizuki was looking back in horror. Once again, she felt that sensation of her mind leaving her body. She froze, and so did he, as she was plunged into his memories.

She saw it from the side, watching as a bystander. He was inside a mansion, wandering the halls. Everything was nice and clean, but the decorations began to dwindle the further he went. He came to a large metal door eventually and stopped. "Mommy? Daddy?" he called, his small voice trembling. His tiny hands extended and reached upwards and found a control panel and typed in a series of numbers. The door slid open and he was greeted with the scene that'd sarted this nightmare.

Inside the room was a humanoid figure. Except, his hands were clawed and his eyes glowing yellow. A monster. He wore the tattered remains of clothing and had a struggling woman clutched in his hand, holding her off the floor by her neck. Lloyd's eyes widened and Mizuki stepped instictively closer to him, momentarily forgetting she couldn't do anything. She flinched, squeezing her eyes shut tight as a loud snap echoed around the cavernous lab they were in, and then the sounds of the woman ceased. She opened her eyes and saw Lloyd standing there, wide eyed and shaking, tears streaming down his face, as the beast bit into the woman's flesh and began devouring her, right there in front of him. Lloyd stared as if transfixed, horried, yet unable to look away.

And then a man in a blood soaked labcoat ran up and snatched the boy up with his one arm, the other hanging useless and limp at his side. Mizuki just stood there, unable to move. She saw a man lying by the monster's feet, partially eaten, who resembled Lloyd very much. His dad...

Suddenly, the images faded away and Mizuki returned to herself. She was staring at Lloyd who suddenly looked afraid, like he wasn't sure what was going on. He started shaking her arm urgently, and she lurched forward, pulling him close. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." she whimpered, trying to push the images out of her mind. "Why would they make you stay here?

She took a deep breath, trying to regain her focus, but she was crying again, and Lloyd was watching her, completely bewildered. I'm here, Ruben. I'm here... she whispered, hoping he could still hear. I'm alright. They've put me in with a little boy, but they sent the others to be eaten! Her voice began rising with her approaching panic. You have to help them! We're.. we're in a mansion! I'm not sure where it is. I was unconscious when they brought us. I'm sorry!

A small crash of the sound of glass breaking rang through the room of the mansion that was currently being viewed. Ruben had ended up seperating himself from Sei after Sei had safely made it into the room with his girlfriend. They had actually had little trouble at all since the monsters were distracted by others. Either way Ruben had immdately turned around and went the way he came, running to save Mizuki. He eventually came upon a large mansion and figured that it might be the best place to look. He honestly knew that she wasn't sure where she was at fully but it seemed like this was at. Ruben had actually teleported in but he had still caused the glass objects in the room to burst from his energy because he had come so fast. A pretty dramatic enterance, but it was easier than most of the ones that he would have to make to get to Mizuki anyway. He stirred as quickly as he could and his body turned to face her, his expression showed through with relife and gladness. "Mizuki..." he said with a sly smile as he tried to pretend that it wasn't that hard to get to her. He sat up though and turned to her, but his eyes wondered over towards the boy as well. He wasn't sure if he should trust him or not, but he wanted to keep Mizuki safe still, so he scooted up a little closer to her.

Mizuki had distracted herself by playing with Lloyd a little longer. It was reassuring to know that Ruben was coming. She just hoped he wouldn't get himself into any trouble along the way. She knew there were monsters around somewhere, but she didn't know of the armed guards outside the room. So, she'd been unable to warn Ruben about them. But currently, she was helping Lloyd put a puzzle together. They were just about done, when a sudden force caused several things to shatter. Mizuki leaned forward, covering the boy with her own body, then cautiously raised her head to see what had happened. Her eyes widened as they settled upon Ruben. At first, she fixed him with a blank stare. Already? He was here already? And he seriously had come?! Though, she felt like she'd been waiting for eternity already, worrying about the others and this boy. Once over her intial shock, she started to lunge towards him for a hug. But a tug on her sleeve stopped her. Lloyd was hiding behind her, peering around fearfully towards Ruben. Mizuki hesitated, then patted his head lightly. "It's alright. He's going to get us out of here..." she said gently. She looked up again, tears in her eyes. He was really here... She was so happy! "I-I'm so glad you're here! Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?!"
