The Jungle.
There is a small village in the jungle, if you can find it, which is a safe haven from any monsters that may have escaped the confines of the lab and mansion, and also sells a few supplies, for basically anything. It rains daily in the jungle, so don’t venture too far into it if you want to stay dry. Also, there seems to be a deep metal hatch somewhere in the jungle... It's said to lead to an important place to the family who owns this island, and also to the source of the monsters.

Ito took a deep breath of the jungle air, sighing happily as he walked into the den of mother nature. He was clad in a black long sleeve shirt and a camo vest, wearing baggy camo jump pants with many pockets, a survival knife attached to his right leg by multi purpose tape. The sheath was the only item there, the knife was in his hand as he walked through the jungle quietly, observing his area calmly. "Sam, do you have the rifle on you in case things get hairy?" He asked curiously, making sure she understood the rifle was a desperate measures supply. He had a bag on his back, holding three days worth of food and water to be split between them, though the meals would be rather small portions. "So, where do you think secrets would be? What heading?" He asked curiously, reading the compass embedded in the pommel of the survival knife.

Sam was right behind him, mentally wishing she had her bag, but physically smiling. She was kind of excited and felt no desire to complain. She had changed into a pair of black pants, slightly loose, and had taken his advice and worn a mesh top over her bikini. She still had the bottom portion on as well, but had just replaced the skirt with pants. Her feet were now clad in her regular knee high boots rather than the sandles too. "Yep," she replied simply, shifting the gun lightly in its place hanging over her shoulder. No way she'd lose this thing. "Probably pretty deep in. I found rumors tha' seemed to be more than jus' rumors. There's supposedly a mansion with a lab underneath somewhere in these woods."

"Oho... And just what would a lab be doing on an island... Is it just me, or do I smell one of my favorite science-fiction novels..." Ito said with a smile, remembering a book he had read in brail that featured an island with experiments to bring out the animalistic qualities of humans. "Any idea what direction they would be on a compass? Maybe we should try and find them and figure out... Maybe a cave? That would probably lead to a service tunnel or something infested with the creatures..." Then, with a mischievous smile, Ito vanished, having hopped up into a tree and now resting amongst it's branches, soon darting around from tree to tree. "And then... When you feel completely secure..." His voice echoed out in a ghastly quality. "You feel an ominous presence behind you... You turn... And..." He dropped behind her silently, a wide grin on his baby-faced features. "POOOOUNCE!!!" He shouted, tackling her to the ground in a very loving and gentle embrace despite the collision of their bodies and their fall to the ground.

Sam nodded her head, smirking lightly. It did kind of sound like that. However, she turned to stare at him at what he next said. "You want to lead to a place tha's infested by 'em?" she asked, looking surprised. Her grip tightened a little on the strap of the rifle she had on her shoulder. She didn't have much practice, but she guessed she could use it if needed. She really should join in on one of the training sessions Ito was having with the kids. "Well, they might be-" she began, cutting off as she turned to face him, only to find he was no longer there. She blinked a couple times and looked around, turning in a full circle. "...Ito?" she called uncertainly, and turned sharply again when she heard his voice. Or, she thought it was his voice, somewhere hidden under that tone. She took a small step back as she listened, trying to figure out where he was. And when he said "you turn" she actually started to, but not quickly enough. She was only half twisted around when he suddenly tackled her and she couldn't help letting out a short shriek of surprise. "What the ********> she shouted, but her eyes were smiling. Pretty soon, she was as well. "Damn, what're you doing?" she murmured, nuzzling into him.

Ito shouted out. "Watch your mouth Samantha!" As they fell to the ground, soon feeling her nuzzling into him, asking what he was doing. "Simple... I'm enjoying what we may as well consider our honeymoon..." He said lightly, nuzzling into her neck gently. Then he heard a noise, something like a grunt. He brought his finger to his lips quietly and got off of Sam, motioning for her to stand up. He crouched and walked slowly through a few bushes until he came upon the scene of a mother boar nursing her piglets. "Ah... Nature in all her beauty..." He said with a smile as he watched the scene, waiting for Sam to join him. The display of motherhood and new life thriving in such a harsh environment evoked many good feelings within Ito. He was hoping it was a meal, but now, seeing that it was a few babies and a mother, he decided he'd pass up the hunt.

"You watch yer mouth!" Sam shouted back, as if the word "Samantha" was just as bad as what she'd shouted. But then she was smiling again, nuzzling into him, and feeling him do it in return. "A honeymoon, eh?" she grinned, remembering what other event had taken place in a forest. But she too heard the grunt and turned her head, quickly getting to her feet when Ito motioned for her. She followed carefully after him and crouched at his side, leaning against him lightly, as she also looked upon the sight. She remained silent, but nodded her head, smiling lightly. It kind of made her wish she hadn't missed her own children's childhood.

"Well, let's get going... Even if a cave is full of beasties, I'm interested in seeing them... We do have our cameras right?" He asked, holding his up, switching to the no flash mode and taking a quick picture of the mother boar and her children. "Now then... Let's move!" He said happily, going off to try and find his way to somewhere the creatures might be. And I want some souveniers!" He cried happily, ready to leap into the jaws of death with nothing but a combat knife. He thought some monster shots would make for perfect honeymoon souveniers, and on the trip back, they'd both relax, rest, and enjoy the pleasurable company they could provide each other. Yeah, it was a perfect plan by his standards.

"Alright," Sam laughed, easily hiding how nervous she was. She'd been the one to mention the rumors n the first place, and he seemed to be enjoying himself. She had no right to complain. And to be honest, she kind of wanted to see them too. She was curious. She patted her pocket lightly, feeling her camera in there as well. She wasn't sure why they'd each brought one, but they had! Maybe one of them would take a picture of something at a different angle than the other, and that picture would turn out to be a masterpiece. She grinned to herself as she followed after him, keeping one hand on the rifle at all times. "So ya think they're in a cave? The main place I heard of was a mansion."

"Well the mansion seemed heavilly guarded when I checked it with the binoculars... I'm not sure about you, but our fellow man doesn't deserve death unless retribution is needed severely." Ito said lightly, looking through some bushes near a rockface. "Besides, you're not the only one who hears rumors... I heard this tunnel leads to the mansion or the lab, so I'm pretty sure we should try the cave for the safest approach... Aside from freaks of nature..." he said with a shrug as he found an opening in the rockface. "Aha! Sam, prepare to go cavediving!" He exclaimed, folding his wings tightly to his back as he slid through the opening. He couldn't wait. Things like this seemed to thrill him surprisingly.

"Oh really?" Sam asked, actually sounding curious. She peered down into the tunnel, then off into the distance. So he'd already spotted the mansion? I wanna see... But she said nothing aloud, and instead turned to watch him again, after stealing a cautious glance around them. "Alright!" she said, and tightened the strap that held the rifle on her shoulder. "Preparations complete!" She grinned and watched him slid down into the opening. She waited until she was sure he was out of the way, or pretty sure, and slid in after him, feet first just in case something happened to be there, or it was a long drop.

Shepard cut his way through the forest with one of his swords. Already he feel the humidness of the place and it was starting to annoy him. " Its going to rain. Like these plants need anymore water" Shepard said looking up into the tree covered sky. " I overheard stuff about this island. How there's monsters and other things here. If there are then they aren't strong enough to challenge a warrior elite like myself. They won't stand a chance!" Shepard said laughing. He remebnered Harumi was behind him. " Hey are you okay back there?"

Harumi followed behind, pouting lightly at the plants that tried to block her path. Vines tried to trip her up, and she felt thorns and things snagging her bare legs, leaving small cuts in her pale skin. She sighed heavily and looked up, staring at Shepard's back with a fierce intensity. Her certainly was just taking care of himself, wasn't he? Not offering her assistance at all, though it was a little easier if she followed right behind him, through the trail he was making. She still muttered something under her breath. He was doing that for himself, not her. But she quieted when he began talking aloud, and slowly nodded her head, not sure if he was talking to her or not. She frowned, smacking a branch out of her way as she went passed it. "...I'm fine," she said shortly, suddenly sounded very irritated.

" Hey if your annoyed with this whole thing you can find your way back. I gave you a choice to come and you did. Now stop throwing a tantrum and move. And no I won't carry you through this forest. I'm not that nice" Shepard said cutting through leaves and branches. He took a small bottle of water and drank some of it. He held it back torwards Harumi. " Here take a small sip. We need to keep hydrated" Shepard said contiueing to move forward. He was looking for sign of movement, anything that might have left a clue if Gordon was here. Wasting my time on finding mine ridiclous cousin. Thats how I wanted to spend my vaction. Not sleeping on the beach! But finding my stupid cousin!

Harumi shot him a piercing glare, her hands clenching by her sides. "I am not throwing a tantrum," she hissed. If she was throwing a tantrum, there would have been a considerable amount of chaos and destruction around her by now. She felt the urge to smack him rising, and probably would have done so, punched him right in the back of the head, until he suddenly handed her a bottle of water. She looked confused, then slowly reached out to take it. And suddenly, the bright smile had returned as her whole personality changed once more. "Thank you!" she cried happily, and drank a little bit, not wanting to be wasteful.
