I'm gonna go camping with a friend of mine and teach her son all about the solistice and such.... we're gonna go fishing and swimming and have a fire and do the ritual...... whole nine yards lol.
what Are your plans? I just wonder how other people celebrate. Even if you're not pagan... what are your plans for the day?

Well, we (my mom, my brother and I [my dad was at work]) wanted to go to the beach but I woke up with a baaad cough so we couldn't. Bleh.
We had lots of fun though. We planted some vegetables, drank smoothies, and just hung around at home. We figured other people could take care of the serious ritual stuff, and we could handle the being silly and playing in the mud bit.

I wish i could go camping ;[
hah. if i went camping i'd be sleeping on sannd.
But ill probably be studying more about other religons, going swimming, planting.
ect.
boring, no?

yeah the camping was fun... we jumped over the fire and i told my friends son the story of the oak and holly kings... It was so cute... He said he wished he could be the oak king... cause he wanted to be able to help things grow. It made me just want to hug him lol.

well hopefully i get to c my boyfriend b4 he goes back to Florida... its been over 2 yrs since ive seen him crying .... i miss him soooo much.... he the only thought that kept me alive for the yrs of hell ive been throu and just 2 c him for a sec and to kno he real and not just an image in my head.... so thats my summer... waiting by the phone to hear his voice and to soon c him aagin....

oh. haha its because i live in the desert. Las Vegas to be direct. I wouldnt even sleep there, we have scorpions D:

Yeah.... I don't think i'd camp with scorpions either lol. the most we have to worry about crawling in bed with us here (in ohio) in tinnie tiny spiders. And they can't even bite.

i dont like spiders,if their out side, great :]
but when they are in my room ill scream...or suffcate them with hairspray :/

Well, besides working so that I can pay part of the rent and feed myself and my fiance, I think I'm going to spend as much time as i can enjoying nature's beauty, and reveling in all the good weather we've had.
It's been kind of a drought where I am, mind you. Maybe some spells to help all the local farmer's crops...
At least once a week, I go outside, and just listen to nature. I live near the lake, so I listen to it lapping against the rocks.
It's sort of soothing.
I try to keep up with my ritual work, but my job keeps me pretty tired most of the time.
Another goal this summer is trying to conceive. Yes, I'm trying to have a baby. ^^ I'm not sure how much longer it's going to take.
It could just be late...
But we may have succeeded.
I'll let you know if it works out. ^^
