Continued from thread. [ Lady Kiya ] (( xD Short start )) The sun blazed down on a rather strange creature. It seemed like a regular bird, except the flames that were on the top of his head. He hopped around looking for bits of food on the ground. With every hop came more flames from his tail and wings. It seemed as if the wind made the flames come to life.
Makani had no idea what this place was, having come here rather strangely waking up on this place. Already finding out that some things around him burned if he didn't control his flames. How annoying it was. He'd get use to it more and more as the days went by.
mangshra ((It's all good xP)) Theia was flying around in the sky, in her wake little licks of flames dances in the dance but they where shot lived. She flew above the trees when she'd rather be flying through them. Sadly she found out that these brown sticks with leafs of emerald couldn't stand her. She couldn't control her flames just yet, it was a slow prosses for her.
Below her, something black cought her eye.[ Lady Kiya ] Makani hadn't even notice the orange flames in the sky. No, he had now put his attention to a tasty looking worm. Yes, he was going to sneak up on it and get it. He hopped closer. More flames merged from his wings and tails.
"You are now my food" He said right before he pecked at the ground, totally missing the worm making it fly in some odd direction. "Damn!" He said as he looked around for it. Hopping one way, then hopping another way. What was he suppose to eat now? mangshra As Theia was coming down for a landing something pink, long, and slimy landed right between her eyes. Eww what is that!? Get it off. Where her thoughts as she touch down on the ground. She flapped her wings about, causing flames to dance in the air around her. It seemed to be stuck on her feathers. "Get off!" She cried. She didn't know what it was.((OooOOoo pretty)) [ Lady Kiya ] (( John - xD Give me a couple of minutes and I'll buy a ticket. xD *doesn't quite have enough yet))
Makani looked up at the other as she started freaking out. What was her problem? Curiosity made him wonder and hop her where she was. "What are you yelling about." He said raising his eyebrow.
He moved a wing out as he talked. He just noticed that she wasn't an normal bird like the one he accidentally set on fire a hour ago. He hopped closer. "What are you?" He asked. Of course this seemed a rather stupid question. She was the same as he. But, what exactly was he? He'd never heard anyone call him what he truly was.(( Welcome, Pirates. 83 )) mangshra She held out her wings, trying to make her self seem mighty and big. "I am...Oh" Her sliver eyes look him up and down. "I'm the same as you? Say can you get this thing off my face. It feels really weird." She hopped closer to him.((Sorry it took so long xP The other rp's I'm in just came to live)) [ Lady Kiya ] (( XD No worries, same here. )) He hopped closer trying to see exactly what she had on her face. He tilted his head and then laughed. It was his lunch. "Oh... I think that's my lunch." He said as he got closer and took it off with his beak.
He hopped backwards and lifted up his head letting the worm slide down his mouth. "Yeah... I know that you are the same as me... But do you know what we are?"mangshra ((Go right ahead...But you may get burned xD)) She was very relieved to have that worm thing off of her. "Well thanks for getting it off of my face. But please keep a better eye on it next time. Ok?" She folded in her wings after stretching them out.
She eyed him. "We are fire birds." She laughed. The turth was that she didn't know their ture name her self, but she didn't want him to know that.[ Lady Kiya ] He hopped in place a few times then raised his eyebrows. "Well, it just flew, you can't always keep an eye on flying things. I'm sure you know that." He said simply looking the the ground.
"Oh? Well, that's a bit obvious, isn't it?" He said looking at his wing as he folded it out again. Though, he had ask a bird what it was, other then saying it was a bird, it also said it was a blue Jay. Then made fun of him for not know what he was. That was when the 'accident' happened. He grinned to himself.(( night John )) mangshra Theia sighed. "Well if it was so obvious, why didn't you know it?" She smirked. She didn't like being one upped, who did. ((Wrights blockxP)) [ Lady Kiya ] "Because, I don't believe that's what we are called officially." He said simply. He didn't know why it was bothering him to know. He decided to sigh and forget about it. It wasn't important. He would just have to burn the next creature that laughs at him.
" I'm just being stupid. "He said finally. It wasn't like this was going to be a good conversation. The Orange female seemed to know more then him, perhaps. Or she knows just about as much as he does? What else got him curious was the other creatures on this land. So many compared to where they had come from. Or at least, so many more then he could remember, that was. mangshra She felt alittle bad for him. She could tell he was alittle blue. So she changed the subject. "I'm Theia by the way. What's your name?" [ Lady Kiya ] Oh, well this wasn't good. She had a name. Did he? Well, of course he did, he'd make one up. Well, it took him a few moments to think of something. Of course, this probably would make him seem like he was lying. "Oh, I'm Makani." He said as if he hadn't heard the other's question at first.
It wasn't as if the name was too hard. He just said something he had heard before. Was it his name? Or was it someone else's name. Maybe it was that bird he fried? mangshra She was about to ask him again till he spoke up. "Hmmm nice name I guess." She pecked at the ground. Now growing hungry her self.
It was odd to her that this boy knew his name when asked. When a squarrle asked Theia her name the other day. She just stared at it like it was nuts. Whats a name? She asked it. It howled with laughter till the flame on Theia's tail grew. That stopped it. She shook her head then looked back to the boy. [ Lady Kiya ] "Something wrong, eh... Was it Theea?" He asked almost forgetting her name or at least the way to say it. He hopped closer, then back a bit. He couldn't hold still. He tilted his tail up as his body came close to the ground. mangshra She stopped pecking and looked up to him. "No I'm just hungry now is all." She fought the feeling of laughing at the site of him. "Oh it's Theia." She smriked, she almost laughed then. She went back to pecking at the ground.
[ Lady Kiya ] He hopped around her. He'd never met another of his kind. At least he didn't think he had. He pecked at the the ground as if he was hungry too. Though, he had already eaten. Of course, it wasn't like he was pecking too hard. He just didn't want to feel left out.
mangshra Something had been bothering her. Some thing that maybe...just maybe Makani knew the answer to. "Said...Do you now how we got here?" [ Lady Kiya ] "Well, I fell from the sky." He said looking up at it. Not exactly sure how he had gotten here. Or how he had even been falling towards this ground. He looked back at her. "It's pretty much the only thing I remember." He said simply. mangshra She looked up to the sky as well. "I only remeber flames...I wonder if there are more of us here?" [ Lady Kiya ] " Of course there is. We found each other. There's got to be more." He paused. "Right?" mangshra She looked at him puzzled. "I was the one asking you!?" She took a deep breath a sighed. "But we could see them from the sky." [ Lady Kiya ] " Not always." He chuckled. "I'm sure there are more, and you and I will run into others. " He nodded. "Plus, I think we might not even met each other again." He said unsure. Of course there were likely hoods they would, but he didn't know. mangshra She tilted her head to the side while looking at him. "Why? You going some where?" [ Lady Kiya ] " Oh, Not right now. I mean, we just may never run into each other again." He said simply. "Unless we stick together." mangshra "And you don't want to do that?" She tilted her head to the other side.((I'm going to bed after this next post. It's late and I can't think straight)) [ Lady Kiya ] (( xD That's fine, we can finish tomorrow)
"Well, I don't mind... " He said tilting his head the opposite way as her. "I mean, I see no problem with it."mangshra "Aye so we stick together? Find others?" She spread open her wings then closed them again.((If you need to you can puppet her...You know, move her around. Well I had fun but bed is call ing. ttfn~)) [ Lady Kiya ] He hopped in a circle, making himself almost fall. "Well, I guess. It shouldn't be too hard right?" He asked as he looked back at the female. He didn't know if they were friends now, or if they were just going to stick together until they found others.

"I hope not." She let out a sigh but then it hit her, the way it must have sounded. "Oh well not that I don't want you around or anything...It's just that well you know. I don't want us to be the only two." She never back tracked so fast befor in her life. Well that she can remeber anyways.

He chuckled. "Well, I'm positive we aren't the only ones." He nodded this time. Well, he couldn't really make up his mind. He figured that since he ran into her, there was a likely hood, a very good likely hood, that they would run into another. He smiled at her. She was his first friend, or what seemed to be a friend.
Though, he hoped she could stand his hot tempered self. He flicked his tail feathers making bits of flames pop up here and there. It was always fun to do. His silver eyes watched the orange female carefully.

Theia held her wings open, brillent orange flame licks flew off of them. "Ok time to go. If they are out there and just like us, can't remeber. Well then they'll need our help." She cheered. She liked this new thought of being needed. "They aren't going to come to us." She winked to the black flamed male then took off into the sky.

Makani took too that though. Perhaps she was right about that. He opened his wings and followed her. Though, he wasn't sure if anyone would need their help. Plus, if they weren't like them, he didn't care much.

Theia flew high into the sky. The warm of the sun felt good. "Now where do we start looking." She was more or less asking her self knowing Makani won't now where to begin ether.

Makani slowed down as he caught up to her. "Well, if we just circle around in small area's perhaps we'll find something?" he suggested.

He circled her in the air and smiled. "Well, lets just have some fun, and when we don't think about finding other's we will!" He said. It sounded like a pretty good idea to him. Of course, not always did they work. But, that one seemed as if it would work.

He smiled. "Hey? Do you want to play some type of sky game while we try to find others? I mean, to pass time buy?" He asked her as he flew closely next to her with a smile.

"No Silly! I'm not the game." He laughed. He still felt like a child though he wasn't. Was it because he hadn't grown up here? Or maybe it was this female? "But yeah. I'll play anything at the moment." Well, he was bored of just flying around.

Theia chuckled and flew around in circles around the black male. "I just ment I'm in if you are." She couldn't help but smile at Makani. "Do you now the game tig?"
