Okay I have posted this in the GD before, but I am a**l about this. I will aruge this to my death. blaugh there is a blaugh there but I am serious, which is a little sad, but whatever! Leave me your thoughts! I'm making this an announcement simply because I can.
When you offer someone a popcicle, sucker, or something like that and you ask them what flavor they want and they say green, purple, or something like that, it really makes me mad! Green is not a flavor!!!!! Lime is a flavor, but green is not a flavor! Purple is not a flavor, grape is!
Orange is a self check sort of thing, you have to mean the flavor.
If you are confused if the red is cherry or strawberry or if the green is lime or green apple, ect. ASK!!!
When parents allow small children to do this it makes me sad. It sets a precedent that detail is not important.

In a weird sort of way i have to agree.
And its really bad when the person asks for red when there are 2 reds (strawberry & cherry) and not knowing that the person is allergic to strawberries you give them the strawberry.
But when their faces turn all red and their skin gets all blotchy, they they mad at you thinking you should have known they were allergic to strawberries. And you say to them, "you asked for red!!! I didn't know which one you meant!"
Then your never able to see them again cause their parents are afraid you might poison them.
Ok so it might have been a little over-exaggerated, but you get my point.

I agree. The sad part is that the parents never correct their children so then they continue thinking that it is alright their whole adult life and then pass it on to their children. It's a never ending cycle that needs to be stopped! What makes it even more sad is that the flavors are usually posted on the side of the box.
