Foreword

I did pick up that bit where the mention of 'RP-Optional' was in the guild's description. And I did see that one forum where the title of 'name pending' was. If you get my drift so far, there's no need to elaborate 3nodding

The RP Proposal

I'm proposing that there would be the guild's RP in place of the 'name pending' title. I don't really know as to how to lay my plans out for the RP, so just bear with me. sweatdrop

Forum Layout

We would have the usual; Rp rules, character set-up/registration, story... and then there's the list of places for your character to go to. To set Dreams apart from Nightmares, we'd have two initials to set them apart.

[D] for Dreams
[N] for Nightmares.

Rp system

This was probably like in the last RP that I set up.

Dreamers - They carry a 'Primary Ideya', which happens to be their greatest personality trait. They might be able to carry other types of Ideya later on. Let's just say that the Primary Ideya is like the starter Ideya, and other Ideya are 'unlocked' depending on the player's actions.

Nightmaren - Then we have our Nightmaren. They happen to have only one 'Ideya Interest'. They might share their goals with the dreamer that has the same Ideya type as they, or they would work together according to a situation (ala NiD).

Nightopians - Innocent little fairy-clowns. They won't be able to do much, but act as a follower of Dreamers or their Nightmaren.

Nightmares - Then we have those guys. They go after Dreamers' Ideya, attack Nightmaren, eat Nightopians... 'nuff said.

Disclaimer

I hope that the above I just proposed would work, and won't end up ripping off/wrecking/blow up the original game's story, plot, ect. This is as good as I could come up with for an RP, and I'd appreciate it if I had some help with events, plotline, ect. sweatdrop

Personally, I think it might be a good idea to wait for Journey of Dreams and see if there are any clarifications on the world of NiGHTS. Almost everything out there is speculation right now. sweatdrop

(Of course, Sonic Team could easily make JoD as vague as the first game, which would mean we'd have to speculate anyway.)

Four to five months is too long to wait after eleven years? xd Sorry, that just struck me as funny.

I think by Nightmares she means the minion Nightmaren. From the description, that's what it sounds like. The idea could use some revising to make it closer to the original game (not much, though - and the basic idea is still good smile ).

An RP sounds fun, but I've never done one, so I'd have pretty much no clue on what to do. My Nightmaren character I made to RP (if I ever RPed) has no name. Can someone help me think of one?

He's quiet. He wears only black, purple, grey, and white, and he doesn't like reala at all. That's because reala jokes about his fighting style-he uses his scarves, one around his neck, one on his left horn. Reala always loves to ask if he's "committed any good tentacle rape" because the scarves stretch and grab of their own accord. He hates the idea of human sex ("shooting sticky goo into eachother to breed? how revolting" is something I've heard him say about it in my daydreams). He slaps people in the back of the head when they say something stupid (especially happy people, he just doesn't understand how someone can be so energetic all the time), and his horns go to the middle of his back, curving twice, like so-

Reala calls them his pigtails because they look heart-shaped from the front.
He wears a grey labcoat/trenchcoat with purple trim, and he likes to be alone most of the time. He's a bit of a scientist-he used to be a member of the 'marens experimenting on the stolen Ideya, but after stealing one for himself, he decided he hated it and has done his best to separate himself from Nightmare ever since. His eyes are solid black unless he's concentrating-his focus makes light show where his pupils would be if he had any. His claws look ferocious, so he usually has his hands in his pockets.
That's all I can think of, is this enough?

*listens to maren in he rhead for a while*
...He says no...It's too close to scar, and he has no scars.
So we're still at TARNiSH (dunno what made us come up with that)...maybe something else? (something that won't make him throw cans at my inner-me's head please?)

...*asks the maren in his head again*
He said he's think about it, but he seemed kinda...I dunno. It's his name we're working on, but he might have only been saying that to keep from being too rude. He's odd like that. He got his "tarnish" handle because one of his experiments on the Ideya made it look filthy on the inside-it was full of nightmare energy instead of dream energy.
Also, should we move this to a character creation topic in the RP area?
