Tai Kamiya Jr. was currently sitting at home playing video cames with his Digimon Partner, Coronamon. The game was soccer, and Tai was winning. "Come on Coronamon, you don't want me to beat you do you?"
"No, but you're going to anyways, you always do." Came the reply from the digimon, and sure enough Tai won the game 45 to 24.
"Lets go outside and play soccer Coronamon."
"Ok, I know I can beat you at that." The digimon dashed out the door, and grabbed the ball as he did so. Tai followed after, bupping into his dad as he did so, "Hi dad! Bye dad, Coronamon and I are going out to play soccer."

Andy woke up from his sleep and noticed a bandage around his leg and some crutches near his bed. He looked around but didn't see any sign of Guilmon. He got up and used the crutches to get down to the kitchen to see if Guilmon was there. Guilmon wasn't there but a note was saying that he had gone to the park. A digiportal had opened up and he wanted to chech it out. Andy threw away the note and headed for the park that was near the building.

"My digimon went to the park and i need to get to him. He found a portal and I have to go. Where is everyone else?"

Tai an Coronamon just happened to be at the right place at the right time, right outside the D-Police Station. When he saw one of them accosting the other they came to give aid, "What is going on here? Is there a problem?" Tai said holding his soccer ball under his arm.
"Cause if there is we'd love to help settle it." Coronamon said watching the boy with the Gizamon carefully.

"Sir? What do you mean? I'm no sir. I've never even been here before." Tai said raising an eyebrow. "Anyhow," Tai turned to the other boy and said, "Can we be of any service to you?" Coronamon took the ball from Tai and began bouncing it on his knees.

Ayame looks over to Kiante after they came throught the portal with Demi a DemiDevimon again. "Captin, we're hungry." She told him with Demi nodding.

Kiante put his hand over Tai's mouth and stepped up close to him, their faces only about an inch away, and whispered, "Shhh. We have a lot to talk about, but not here." And began pulling him along by the wrist towards his room. He looked over at Ayame and said, "I'm not you're captain anymore, that'd be Talladarr, first of all. Second, you know where the kitchen is and you can also order food from the console in your room. Third, and most importantly, DON'T open portals in the middle of the station!" Then continued to his room. When they got there he set the boy down on his bed and said, "I handed that D-Command to you because it chose you. I suspect you know a lot about the Digidestined's exploits because of your father. He's also the most likely reason you were chosen to be a Digidestined. You're now going to be a part of the D-squad, I mean D-squad 1. The codename for Digidestined. Some of them anyway. You'll get to stay here in the station. You will be required to help us with protecting both of the worlds. And, if you're not already, you'll have to be enrolled in school." Kiante said, very plainly. He then used the console built into his wall to get Chief Willis, and told him to tell Tai Senior about his son's new status, as well as get all the paperwork and such for being an officer finished. He turned back to Tai, "Congrats."
