Hello, and welcome to the Jedi Temple Info Thread. This topic covers all aspects of the new (and hopefully improved) Jedi and Sith Temples and Councils.

So, let's begin with a brief tour, shall we?

~The Jedi and Sith Councils~

Even though we are a lazy crew, we have done much to change and keep the guild running like a well-oiled X-Wing.

However, sometimes we can't cater to every need of our wonderful members. So we'll be trying out a new approach.

With our soon to be numerous Jedi and Sith, we'll have Councils set up to police their actions. These councils will be organized around the actual Jedi and Sith codes, and will consort with their followers in similar ways.

They will be responsible, as well, for the actions of their members in the Guild itself. For example, if a Sith goes to the OOC and picks a fight with a Jedi, it's up to them to see it through, lest we get involved.

And trust me, noone wants the weight of a Moderator put behind an enemy, right?

Most of this will just be politics: recruiting new members to join the guild and their Order, and to prevent people from joining the Jedi.

For starters, these Councils will be appointed by the crew. When we have enough people, and our duties grow, we'll see to allowing the voters decide upon their own council to govern themselves like a nice Chandrillan democracy.

~The Mission System~

Within the guild, we now have a mission system. The respectives Orders and Councils can sponsor missions set up by the council or other members of the Order.

These missions will revolve around various things, such as bumping in threads, questing for items, participating in RPs, etc. These natures will be determined by whomever sets up the quest.

Jedi can not participate in Sith quests and vice versa.

There will be no rewards for missions. Completed missions will count torwards rank; more missions completed = higher rank.

Missions themselves will also be ranked in a Naruto-fashion, with certain missions only accesible for certain ranked members.
