Tracey/Misty VS Ash/Misty
Though Tracey only traveled with the group for 1 season, he did manage to steal the hearts of many a fangirl, but could he have stolen the heart of our favorite red-head? Or Visa Versa? Despite all of 4Kids efforts to make Ash/Misty as canon as possible, could Misty's dedication to Ash REALLY run deep enough to be love?
Orangeshipping is a largely neglected couple. Tracey's short lived appearance and the unbearable amounts of AAML make it a very over looked ship.
Tracey and Misty do fight much less, they genuinely get along. Several times people mistake them for a couple (Including the narrator at one point). Misty's Sisters seem to like them together, pushing for them to play the leads in their new romantic play, which both are to embarrassed to do. When ever Tracey gets a moment to him self away from Oak, he runs right along to visit Misty. And of course, when Tracey's Marill had an egg, he gave it to Misty to replace her Togepi, so Misty would have a new Pokemon to Baby. Tracey gave Misty her new Baby. XD
PokeShipping has the biggest following in the US because of 4kids efforts to make it so. But, past all the cheesy English dialogue, and misinterpreted moments; there might just be enough going for them.
Misty and Ash traveled together for 5 seasons. At first it was, of course, simply for the bike he smashed. But in time it's easy to see that Misty honestly DOES care for Ash, even if it's only as the dorky boy she happens to be traveling with.
So, whats your poison?

I have to say I preffer MistyXTracey over AshXmisty. I hated that 4kids tried to make AshXMisty Cannon, but I actually think MistyXTracey would be cute! And everyone in the anime does seem to hint that they may lie each other (or just want them to end up together XD)

I'd have to say. My very first ship, was Pokeshipping.
Now though Im strongly an Egoshipper.
But I just didnt see anything between Misty and Tracey at all. Ever. And Ima have to go with Poke.

I like Orangeshipping mainly because it's an overlooked pairing and they get along fine... though the hints that were mentioned above, were they from the Pokemon Chronicles? I have got to see those episodes!
Pokeshipping would be cute if it weren't for the fact that 4kids keeps pushing it and the way Misty and Ash look when they are together. They have more of a sibling type of relationship feel to them.

I agree, Misty and Ash do have more of a brother sister relationship.
Im just more partical to it is all. Orange shipping is reallly reallly cute. And I like Tracey. But quite frankly I dont really ship either.

Tracey really was always such a sweetie on the show.
A good friend of mine, writes fanfics. And in one of her fanfics she made Tracey the bad guy. And I asked her why. And she told me it was nothing personal just that she needed someone to be the bad guy that was well known already. So that may be the reason.. hes not a new character and its easy to bash him and use him as a bad guy. Other people may blame Tracey for Brock leaving.
Thats what many did to May after Misty left.

I think that Misty and Tracey have far better chemistry together then Ash and Misty will EVER have. I mean, if time meant love, then Brock should be ******** Ash by now considering how many seasons he has been in. Misty and ash fight like a brother and sisterand honestly I do not see any sort of love connection between the two. Of course- there is always the lack of evidence of Orangeshipping and how Tracey fanboys over Oak (but of course we all know that in an anime like pokemon it's impossible to find legit proof for ANY pairing)
My vote goes to Orangeshipping all the way!
