Karyn unlocked the door to her apartment with one hand and carrying several bags wit the other. They'd had quite a shopping spree. Since she'd only just gotten in town today she had to do some serious food shopping. Her new 'slave' was also in need of a new wardrobe in a bad way.
"Come on in. Quick, please." She dropped the bags onto the sofa and went to her little pantry to put the food away. Having no cooking skills whatsoever, most of the things she'd gotten consisted of instant or damn near instant food. Since she was hungry now she popped a few poptarts into the toaster for both of them. It wasn't nearly as nutritious as it should have been but it would have to do.
"It's not much but it's as close to a home as we'll get."

Looking about with great gratification for her kindness, I stepped carefully as not to leave dirty footprints on the ground. "Wow...this is a really nice place...Quaint and simplistic...Very down-to-earth..." As I entered the kitchen area, I stepped next to her; observing what she did carefully. "Anything I can do to--what's this...?"
Immediately distracted, I stepped over to the window; staring deeply into the city streets. "Wow...Never really knew that such interesting architecture existed...Very strange, yet...amazing at the same time..." Looking back at her with the same goofy smile, I asked her innocently, "I suppose you're used to this sort of thing, though, right? I mean, after all, you were lucky enough to live in such an enviroment."

Casting a quick glance around at the apartment he thought nice, she wondered exactly how long he'd been in there. Karyn offered up a sad smile as she grabbed plates for them one of the cupboards. "It's alright I guess....some of the places I've been to have been nicer. We won't be here a lot. But I'm glad you like it. It is a nice neighborhood."
When the poptarts were done she grabbed them out of the toaster and offered him one. "The best I can do for now. Sorry. If you want more you have to make it yourself. My cooking kills."

Osberving the strange pastry with questionable eyes, I hesitantly grabbed it; turning it over and looking at it carefully. "What...is this...?" Holding it up to my nose, I sniffed it carefully. "Hm...smells pretty good..."
Raising it to my mouth, I bit into it; moving it around in my mouth. "Wow! This is good!" Eating it happily, I looked at her with greatful eyes. "Never had such a strange style of food before in my life...What are these things called...? Oh, who cares...thank you!"

Karyn took a bite of her own and raised an eyebrow at his antics. Pushing her dirty dishes into the sink, she hopped up onto the counter to sit. Watching his facial expression when he took a bite was priceless. She couldn't help but laugh. And in doing so she she hit her head on the cupboard behind her. "Ow, geez. Your welcome."
She blushed, feeling ashamed of hoe deprived he was and how much she took advantage of. If he thought those were luxurious what would he think of everything else? "Who'd have thought you'd get excited over a little poptart."

"Poptart, huh...? Weird..." Holding the remaining pastry with my mouth, I walked over to her and gently placed a hand upon her head; cradling it with a comforting rubbing motion. "You ok?" My words slightly muffled by the food.
Standing there, I gazed at the top of her head; caressing her bruise softly. "Hm..." Looking around, I noticed the place to be somewhat in shambles. Dishware and bowls and other assorted cooking items scattered about. "...Here...let me repay your kindness partially..." Stepping over to the sink, I examined it carefully. "Hm..." Placing a hand on one of the fosits, I cautiously turned on the water; jerking in astonishment. "Huh! Wow...that's just...uh...Yeah..."
Looking about as the water ran slowly, I took a bowl and placed it in the sink; searching for something to clean it with. "...Ok...I have...no idea..." Turning the fosit off discouragedly, I turned to her--head hung low. "...Sorry...I really don't know what I'm doing..."

Still blushing from when he'd rubbed her bruised head, Karyn hopped off the counter and pushed him aside gently. She opened up the cupboard under the sink for the soap and a new sponge to wash the dishes with. " It's alright. You had good energy though. You'll learn, but even then it won't be that important to clean much at the rate we'll be travelling."
Almost as if to contradict herself she starting washing the dishes. Something she had always hated doing. "Although for your sake I've been thinking that maybe we should stay here a week longer than usual for adjustment purposes."
When the strainer filled up, she began piling the clean dishes onto the open counter space. "Could you check around for other dirty dishes? I don't remember if I left any around but I'd rather get this all done in one go." Really, she was just looking for an excuse to be alone if eve for a second. She wasn't used to having people around her and Karyn found it all just a little suffocating. 'I need to get used to this. I will get used to this. Just...for now just a little space.'

Nodding in compliance, I headed towards the other rooms--searching for the illegid dirty dishes. "Hm...Too bad I can't really focus right now..." As I walked into a room with what appearted to be a folded futon ((the couch)), I saw another window peering into the alleyways of the housing complex. "An entire world at the ends of my fingertips...and yet if I step foot out there, I could be sent right back to where I was..."
Shaking my head, I grabbed a dirtied glass before me on a small stand. "Well...nevertheless...this is my home...and I am on a leash...Freedom isn't free..." Mulling around in a dry tone, I walked back into the kitchen--face instantly cheerful for her sake. I then extended my arm out; handing her the empty glass. "Here. This is all I could find."

Karyn took the glass and mumbled a "thanks" before finishing up the dishes. After about five minutes of putting up with his awkward lingering presence she gave up on them. 'Screw it. I did most of them.' She sighed and went into the living room, taking a seat on the couch. She grabbed a pillow and hugged it to herself, peeking at him over it. 'Is he going to just stand there and stare at me?'
"You can either take a seat and chat with me for a while, or shower. Your choice, but I recommend a nice hot shower." Karyn politely left out the fact that his personal odor wasn't exactly daisy fresh. 'This id definitely going to take some getting used to. Maybe for both of us.'

At her mention of a shower, my brow raised--questioning the very meaning of the word. "Shower...? I guess that has to deal with something along the lines of bathing...might as well clean myself up. After all, I should be at least somewhat presentable..." Looking at my soiled body and clothing, I rubbed the back of my neck and let out a cherub-like smile. "Heh, yeah...I could probably use a good cleaning...I'll...go find it somewhere..."
As I walked out of the room, I headed towards a strange room with a ceramic bowl and a tiled area--sealed off by a curtain. Staring blankily at the curtain, I closed the door behind me. "So...this is a...shower? Very well...can't be all too difficult..." Disrobing my tattered and dirtied clothing, I carefully placed them on the open window sill as to not dirty and muck up the floor. Carefully, I opened the curtain; stepping into the stall only to shut the curtain behind me. I gazed emptily at the showerhead--questioning it with every passing moment.
"Well...I suppose it is as difficult as it seems..." Looking down, I saw two knobs sticking from the wall. Gazing at them, I observed the writing on each of them carefully--only coming to the conclusion that one of them had to be for the water. ((Remember, since he was held captive for so long, he's become illiterate)) Grasping the nossle on the right, I turned it quickly to the left. Instantly, a stream of freezing cold water came raining down on me in a furious manor. "Gahh!! Damn it, what the hell!?!" My voice filled with awe and shock, I immediately twisted the knob back to the right.
Standing there, I breathed heavily; trying to regain my compsure. "...Ugh...Alright...That was ******** up...I'll try the next one..." Reaching out to the left knob, I hesitantly placed my hand upon it. Resting it there for a while, I turned it full about; only to be boiled alive by scolding-hot water. "Daggh!!! Mother ********!! s**t!!" Without thinking, I leaped out of the shower stall. In doing so, my foot caught the lip of the stall and I fell onto the ground with a loud bang. "Son-of-a-b***h!"
Laying on the ground, I dare not to get back up in fear of the tempermental water. However, I knew if I could not even figure out something as simple as bathing myself, I would probably never fit into the modern world. "Huh...One more time..."
Rising to my feet, I re-entered the stall; carefully placing both hands on the knobs. Staring at them heavily, I inhaled deeply; wishing for the best to happen. Then, with a quick twist of the two knobs, the water came raining down once more. However, instead of being either extreme, the water was warm. Sighing with releaf, I stood there--allowing the water to beat heavily down upon me; rinsing off the impurities and dirt collected over the years. "So...this is a shower, eh...? Really should have directions on how to use this damn thing..."
After all the clutter and debris upon my body washed away, I grabbed hold of the nossles--turning them opposite directiongs from before. Without fault, the pulsating water immediately cut. Stepping of the stall once more, I grabbed a nearby towel--uncertain if I was allowed to use it. "Well...I hope she does not mind..." As I dried my hair, I looked to the window for my clothing. However, to much distrought, my clothing had fallen into an alleyway.
Looking down at my garments laying there in the mud, my brow twitched with a disgruntled hatred. "...Well...that's just ******** fantastic..." Sighing once more, I finished drying myself--only leaving my hair still mostly wet. "Now, then...what the hell do I do...?" Looking about, I could not see anything else used as clothing, let alone pants. "Well, then...this is problematic..."
Holding the towel, I nodded; complying with the only option left for me. Quickly, I tied the towel around my waist firmly--securing it so as it would not to fall. Then, with great hesitation, I stepped out of the bathroom and walked back into the den with an ashamed look upon my face. "Uh...sorry to burden you, but...my clothing...fell out the window..."

Karyn was still fighting down her laughter from his battle with the shower. It was nice to know she wasn't the only one with such colorful language. On the other hand maybe she should have started it for him for his time. Without a word she snatched up a bag from the sofa and handed it to him.
"Good thing you forgot to bring your new clothes in there with you then or else they'd be out the window and that would have been money badly spent. I'm not even going to ask how your old ones managed to fall out the window."
Karyn blushed, only just noticing he was dripping wet and in nothing but a towel. She'd never actually seen another guy this naked before. "Well, get back in there and put them on." She practically shoved him back into the bathroom and shut the door in his face. "Huh, well that was a little weird." She went back to lounging on the sofa while she waited for him to come out. "He better like them." She'd actually let him pick out one or two outfits on his own, but the ones she picked were all black. Karyn was pretty partial to the color herself, and seeing as how she kinda owned him she might as well force a bit of her tastes onto him.

As I was shoved back within the bathroom, I heard the door heavily close behind me. Standing there with the bag of clothes, I gazed vaguely--questioning why she threw me back in here so quickly. "...That was weird..."
Placing the bag on the counter next to the sink, I opened it carefully and examined some of the outfits within it. One that grabbed my eye was basically a bodysuit--all black in a somewhat tight-fitting cotton. Placing it on, I examined it partially within the mirror. "Hm..." Grasping at the shoulders, I tore the sleeves off; dropping them beside the bag. I then reached into the bag once more and retrieved a vest I personally picked out. It was tan and made of a denim material.
Strapping it on, I made sure it was secure and tightly placed. "Hm...not bad...Missing something, though..." Looking at the sleeves, I tore them once more--making them sheets of cloth. Then, with a few more tears, I was able to wrap them around my neck and lower portion of my face--covering from my jaw to the bridge of my nose. "...Much better. This should come in handy in time." As I looked back into the bag once more, I pulled out a pair of black, leather strap sandals.
Tying them onto my feet, I tapped my heels to the ground; checking how secure they were. "Perfect." Stepping out of the bathroom, I grabbed the bag and headed towards her once more. But before I left the threshhold of the bathroom, I slid down my facial mast to my neck--making it appear as if it were merely a turtleneck sleeveless shirt. "Alright. I changed into suitable attire. What do you wish me to do with the bag?"

Karyn quirked an eyebrow at the sight of his new clothes and their upgrades. "If I'd have known you were going to rip them up like that then I wouldn't have bought the damn things. Jeez." She crossed her arms and pouted a little indignantly. "I don't care what you do with it. Throw it out, toss it to the floor, cuddle it close to you. I don't care, it's a damn bag."
Karyn realized she was overreacting just a tad about the whole situation and she sighed, uncrossing her arms. "Have a seat anywhere. Relax." Feeling just a bit jittery, she crossed her arms over her chest again. She didn't know what to do with herself, or him for that matter. "Do you have any questions at all about whatever? I'm not good at this whole owning people bit and I'm not even going to try and fit the bill. I'd just as much rather live as comfortably together as possible without killing each other. So lets get to the questions now."

Slightly taken back by her sharp words, I looked at her with questionable eyes. "...Alright..." Cautiously, I moved to a chair and sat down--about a meter and a half away from her. There, I listened to her words once more; gazing at her with the usual empty stare. "Questions...? Well...I suppose there is one that does seem to be poking at the back of my mind...What are you expecting from purchasing me...? Are you doing it so you can sleep well at night...? Or are you actually expecting something from me...? Either way...it makes no true difference for me..."
