[No, there's no Poll Whore option on this one, I want actual opinions, lol.]
Personally... I think he qualifies for 'all of the above.' He's actually fairly good at what he does (except being a spy, that he kinda sucked at), he wouldn't have gotten to where he is without a little disregard for authority and... well he slept with it if it walked on two legs and had boobs, lol.
But what do the rest of you think?

Dalamar is a character I both love and hate.
At times he will do or say things and i just want to jump in the book and beat him over the head with a magic scoll.
but then again he'll go and doing something else to make me love him the next min.

I like Dalamar. He's cool. He does seem a little whorish though. Seriously, I mean he rips off his robes at least three times in the books. xD And does anyone else remember that part in the Second Generation, where Palin and his brothers and Caramon are talking with the Conclave about how Raistlin's gonna steal Palin's body, and Dalamar grabs Palin and says
"Do you want to see what your uncle is capable of?"
And then he motions to unclasp his robes again, even though he had just done that about five minutes ago?
xD
That part made me laugh...
