In an obscure part of town, you come across a small quaint shop, which sort of reminds you of those old fashion magic shops. The place looked old but in good shape, the place made of a dark wood with stained glass windows. Above the door on a dark wooden plaque are the words 'Sanctuary of Souls', likely the name of the shop. As you open the door the shop and step inside, a little bell rings to signal your arrival in the shop.

Glancing around the shop, you see myriad bookshelves along the walls, on which are books, crystals, vials of various colored liquids, various shaped figurines, and many other things. In the center of the room are a few dark colored cushy looking couchs around a wooden coffee table. Scattered around the room are a few statues, chairs, and plants. At the back of the shop is a small walkway with two stair cases, one leading to the upper floors of the shop, and one leading down into the depths of the shop.

A woman with long slighty wavy black hair wearing black oriental style clothing with white designs on them and glasses walks towards you from one of the couchs which she had been sitting on. "Irashaimasen!" she said in greeting in a silky voice with a small bow and a smile. With a gesture around the shop she added, "Welcome to the Sanctuary of Souls, my name is Reina, I am the shopkeeper." she waved at the couch opposite to the one she had been siting on previously, "Please, have a seat." she said, sitting back in the place she had sat before.

The young woman looked up through a curtain of wet hair at the proprietor. Leyla felt color in her cheeks despite the very wet weather outside, though even that worry was quickly melting away as she observed her surroundings. Admittedly she had only dived into the shop because it was raining and the umbrella she had set out to bring with her that day was still lying serenely on the table near the door at home.

"Ah, hello." Leyla returned as she finally got to really observe the other woman. Reina was dressed and poised in such a way that Leyla thought that perhaps she ought to bow to her or something. She resisted. "Thank you very much."

Instead she stepped delicately around the displays of curios and antiques towards the seat offered to her. The more she could act like she didn't end up here by accident the better. "I'm really just browsing," she explained awkwardly.

Reina smiled warmly at the young woman, absently making the water that dripped onto the floor vanish and surreptitiously drying her guest as well so that by the time that she had gotten to the seat she was mostly dry. "See anything you like?" she inquired, gesturing at the things around the store, as she walked back to where she had been sitting. "Would you care for some tea?" she asked before refilling her own cup and pouring some for Leyla if she wants some.

She gazed into Leyla's eyes for a few moments before reclining in her seat and taking a sip of tea, closing her eyes to savor the taste. After short period of time she opened them again and looked straight at her, "Would you be interested in a soul?" she asked candidly as she lowered her cup back to it's saucer.

Leyla stopped in her thought process, a look of clear puzzlement spreading across her face. "A soul..?" She repeated even as she settled down in the chair. She almost hesitated to sit at the last moment, but it was too late. She couldn't just run away now, as much as the logical part of her wanted to.

"I think I already have one of my own..?" She ventured insecurely, pressing a hand to her chest as if to seek reassurance from her heartbeat. Maybe this woman was trying to convert her to some weird religion or cult. Maybe she should have ran after all. "What do you mean?"

Reina smiled at Leyla and nodded her head, "Yes, a soul." she said as she watched the nervousness in the other woman, "Well, yes of course you already have one of your own." she motioned towards her for a moment, "I speak of a soul of one who has left behind their earthly, or unearthly, it depends on what they were,-" she mumbled the last part as if it was something unimportant, "-body which to watch over." she finished before gesturing to Leyla, "Would you care of take custody of one of these poor souls?" she said, a bit a humor playing in her eyes if you played close attention.
