About the Trainer
Name Crista Noir
Psuedonym Your Inner Nerd
Age 23
Background Crista, Crista, Crista. She was one of a kind, wasn't she?

Of course, she could've also been called an oddball by anybody who found her eccentricity, well, odd. Honestly, wearing an aviator's uniform to special occasions is slightly weird, to say the least.

From a young age, Crista had been taken by the patterns and flying habits of dragons. They were so varied, so magnificent. Their wings carried them everywhere. All in all, they were free. Free from over-oppresive parents, free from the duties expected of a young lady, free from everything.

And so it should come as jno surprise that as soon as she embarked out on her own, Crista became even more infatuated with dragons. So infatuated that she set out to find her own. Job after job that Crista applied for involved keeping these enchanting creatures. And yet, she still could not have one; none of the dragons she had met so far were the perfect match. Some were too ornery, others too lazy, and some just plain unappealing.

Until finally, she found Azulee in an abandoned nest.

Enjoys reading, dragons, swimming
Dislikes her family, cooking, drawing [it frustrates her]

Entry One
as written by crista.

So, it was around yesterday. It was yesterday that I happened to be meandering through the woods, minding my own buisness. Yesterday that I had gotten fired from my seventh and possibly last job, yesterday that I got that stupid letter from my parents. It was yesterday that I decided to pack and move.

There I was, strolling through the forest to catch my bearings. My head was reeling with a terrible migraine and my sotmach was clutching itself due to my latest job loss. Everything seemed to be closing in around me.

I was about to pass out right then and there.

Yet, among the greenery of the forest, there was an oddly shaped stone. An oddly shaped stone tinted with blue at the bottom. I, being a self-proclaimed conniseur of rare object/shiny things, curiously glanced over there before cautiously making my tway towards it.

It wriggled. I stopped dead in my tracks.

This was no stone. It was a dragon egg! The stress that had me nervous and bitter a mere five minutes ago had now suddenly disappeared. Anxiety was replaced with sheer joy in finding this egg.

It had always been my dream to race dragons. Let alone own one of my own!

Thus, I quickly snatched up the abandoned egg and tucked it under my jacket.

I think I'll name it Azulee.

Entry Two
as written by crista.

Oh dear. Azulee has hatched.

I was out job hunting yet again (with barely any luck, naturally) and came back home slightly discouraged but mostly hungry. Now, I've never thought of it before, but perhaps dragon eggs have more protein than those overpriced chicken eggs at the market. So there I was, prepared to crack open this beatuiful little egg I'd found in the forest not so long ago.

Not only was I discouraged by a lack of work, but now I knew I would have to starve tonight as well. In the spot on my bedside table where I'd left Azulee was now nothing but the remnants of an eggshell and a small dragon sitting in the midst of it. It had large, cold blue eyes and a steel gray tint to its scales. The horns were short and apparently dull, the dark blue tips jutting into the air. The underbelly and wings were the same color as well, giving the baby an air of importance.

Since I can't find a job, perhaps I'll begin racing to make the money I need. These slums are no place for a baby dragon, anyhow.

Entry Three
as dictated by azulee.

I've finally broken free from that shell that'd kept me so long. I can't really say much, though, seeing that I've only recently entered the world and all. I think I'll leave the writing to that girl Christine or whatever her name is.

Entry Four
as written by crista.

Over the past few days, we've been going to and from the track. THe first day we got there, I got to meet a few of the other trainers and Azulee got off to a pretty rough start with many of the hatchlings. He met two, I believe: Slash and Ria? No, it was Rhea.

This Rhea one was quite nice, I believe. She giggled poiltely whenever Azulee would fall, and I'm sure she meant no harm. But my hot headed little dragon companion can be quite harsh at times, and so I had to intervene. One of the shop assistants mentioned racing to us, though, and so I pitted Azulee against Rhea.

Surprisingly, he won.

Once we got off the track, the shop assitant mentioned having a mini-tournament between Slash and Azulee. Here I am right now, at the track, recording their race.
